This is a surprisingly engaging text game that demands that you stay on your toes and rewards careful planning. Even going to the same city in two different games, I was able to enjoy a different experience. Honestly- I'm impressed. I know there will come a point that I've checked out all of the possibilities, but I'm not there yet. After losing one game and winning a second, I'm still very happy with the game overall.

Arcade Spirits is the ideal story-driven game for gamers who want to be rewarded for intelligent choices and value well-developed characters.

I've found it light-hearted enough I don't have to stress about every choice, but also an opportunity to see where the story-teller is taking me through my decision-making. In that respect, it's actually a relaxing gaming experience.

I'm pretty happy with the voice-acting, with artwork, and the plot thus far. I'm in no rush to finish as I want to simply enjoy the game as I go along rather than race to finish and min/max my results.

It's a simple game with basic graphics, but it quickly becomes far more complicated. The ethical issues are probably my favorite part of the concept. To be good at this game, you have to harden your heart and be willing to ignore the plight of others. Yet you can't be entirely heartless either, or you'll find yourself without allies when you're the one with a sad tale to tell.
