I do the rigging myself, typically I just "paste over" the Combine NPC rig and then adjust the bones to match the exact location of the model's original bones accordingly and whatnot.

It's not a 100% solid solution as the animations still look slightly broken but it's good enough and I really can't be bothered to learn the proportion trick and all that.

@Coffee Man I dont know if you still do model replacements, but do you typically use auto rigger when doing them or do you build the rigs yourself? Asking cause auto rigger seems to ♥♥♥♥ up my models when I need to edit them for the playermodels lol

I'm no longer modding anything Left 4 Dead 2 related and I can barely convince myself to make smaller simple mods for my own gaming experience.

To be brutally honest with you, my older Left 4 Dead 2 addons were weird and cringe pieces of sh*t, I don't like those addons, that's why I deleted them way back in the day.

I won't make any changes or release alternative versions. Anyone is free to make their own changes to my addons as they wish, and even publish their own versions.

Just a comment on your new Gmod plugin. Since comments are off for it. And I would never use GMOD...
Corpse dragging ragdoll physics fix ( collisions ) was added to Source over a decade ago now.

I've given you a solution to your problem, with easy to follow steps on how to fix it, you can either follow them or not. I'm not spending time archiving previous outdated versions of my addons just because 3~5 people have compatibility issues with them due to specific addons that they use.

Garry's Mod is already an extremely heavily modded game, you're bound to run into compatibility issues sooner or later, no modder can guarantee 100% compatibility with everything, and you definitely can't please everybody. So getting your hands dirty here 'n there to fix those issues for yourself is nothing but beneficial.

I'm not going to clutter up my workshop list with alternative older versions (which have currently-patched issues such as misplaced particle effects on the headshot feedback case) as that'll just create more confusion on which addon to use for plenty of other users.

The amount of users who have comparability issues is way too low (considering the addon has a decent amount of active subscribers) and if these specific folk experience these issues, they're more than welcome to download the addon and alter it themselves for their own purposes.

In your case, you'd need to install the addon locally and just change particle of cball_bounce to something else that's not broken for you, the code is extremely easy to understand. The Gmod Wiki can also help you with a full list of effects.

I meant that it has broken compatibility with tons of weapon bases like MW base, would you be okay with reuploading the old version (it shows a huge ar2 bullet impact instead of the intended effect)

I use the same version as the workshop version everytime I play Garry's Mod, the headshot effect works correctly and without issues.

Chances are you have another addon that's screwing up your particle effect, check your mod list.
