It's alright

Where to start with this game...

I absolutely ADORE this game. Truly, from the bottom of my heart. The soundtrack is amazing, the story is wonderful, the characters are interesting, and the levels are hard. I love how the game encourages death as a learning process, and how no collectibles are necessary to beat the base game (however, to access the Core, as well as all B and C sides, there are a few trinkets you need to pick up.) It's a relaxing experience, and while it may feel frustrating at times, when you finally reach the summit, you know you've earned it.

I'd give this a 9/10. My only issue with this game is a personal gripe, and that is the Resort levels. Ooh boy, that B-side made me feel levels of anger I've never reached before.

This game knocks my socks off. The hand-drawn animation, the tough fights, the great mechanics, all are astounding.

10/10, would buy again.
