turning off "Limit Player Character Proportions" in the settings was the best decision of my life.

I don't know. I played through the whole game in co-op with my friend and the amount of bugs are ridiculous for a game that's nearly 2 years old. Overall it was fun. But not 60$ fun. I'd give this game a neutral rating if I could, it's not a real not recommended.
Some things that burned us out while playing:
-Random "save the survivor" indicator in the middle of the street but there's no NPC. You can rescue the nothing and the indicator just floats there.
-Survivors not giving any rewards after saving them / only 1 player can claim it sometimes.
-Rope lifts that can take you up on the side of buildings. That one drove me crazy. You walk too close to it at the top and you auto use it, can't cancel it or anything.
-The movement felt bad sometimes. Character jumping off things for no reason, not grabbing ledges, etc. Plus what are these default key binds. Stuff is on TAB and CAPSLOCK and you can't change them. ???
-Elevators are buggy, my friend fell through nearly all of them
-Already opened doors randomly close in front of me and open again without interacting with them
-Story quests breaking, doors not opening. Had to quit the game multiple times because we couldn't progress.

After looking at the changelogs I see they only recently added weapon dismantle and repair. Just to quote myself, how is this game nearly 2 years old.

But at least they're still working on it, adding and fixing stuff.

I'm sure in a year or two it'll be a really god game, but for now it's just a good game. Not DL1 good but in the end hey. It's a different game afterall. Some stuff are worse, some are better.

Stop reading the reviews. Just go and buy this game already. Insane amount of content, and we're only in 0.2.2 with 3 more promised expansion. GOOO BUY IT

I own this game since 2013 december here on steam. Today when i tried to play it, it simply said I can't because I reached the maximum amount of downloads. For a game I bought. Full price. Literally what the ♥♥♥♥, go slit whoever made this XDDDD

I'm kinda disappointed.

I was so hyped for this game. This is the first horror game I decided to play all by myself without watching any gameplay etc. I'm 19 and I couldn't play Amnesia when two of my friends sat next to me, I even ♥♥♥♥ myself in a my little pony mod because of some random """jumpscare"". But this game. Well. I find myself more annoyed than scared. I mean you die so many times and stuck at places the game just lose the horror feeling. Okay there are places where I feel scared as f.ck and the game start of scary but sooner or later it'll become boring and annoying.

The game looks great tho even on lowest setting.

But I think it's the kind of game that you can only play once. Or just try to speedrun it on higher difficulty. I'm sad that I'm only like halfway through but I'm bored with this game. I don't even really ge the story. It's feels like there's no story at all. You just run around.

To be honest I'd rather sit back, grab some popcorn and watch a no commentary full gameplay video than finish the game myself.
