I've had my eye on this since the demo was available - didn't get my hands on it back then but watched plenty of videos. The game is simple enough to understand, take cargo from point A to point B in your big rig spaceship. What I'm looking forward to getting into as I play more is the upgrades, skill point assessment, and the various different difficulties. I agree with most others that the launch day controls (with keyboard) leave a lot to be desired. That being said, if I play with a xbox controller or on my steam deck (which this game runs great on) then the controls are perfectly fine and in my opinion easy to learn. Looking forward to sinking more time into this game, I always find myself drawn to driving/flying/sim games in general so this checks a lot of boxes for me and as another reviewer said it feels like I've been teleported into the cowboy bebop universe with the aesthetic of not only the trucks but with the environment as a whole. I will update this review after getting some more time invested, but my first impressions are that this is worth the buy and shows lots of potential. (Multiplayer convoys please...?)

It was great before 1.0 and now it's even better. Hope to one day see it verified for steam deck - I have issues with certain features when I play on that platform, but on Windows it is fantastic. The combat is really fun and if you get good at it you can kill bosses that you aren't meant to until later. The game lets you explore the entire map at whatever pace you want and the constant update of things to do to upgrade your castle heart or to find new equipment means there is always something to do. Never a dull moment, buy this game.

This is a good game don't get me wrong, but it's too buggy in current state for me to recommend. Items vanish into thin air, you fall through the map, the zombie detection is ♥♥♥♥, and the sad part is that it wasn't like this before. I think they had a good game and through the updates managed to ruin that. If you have a time machine and can play the game a little over a year ago yeah enjoy it while it lasts.

One of the best survival themed games I've played in a long time. Valheim gives me the same sort of feeling I got when I first played Minecraft. While there's nothing incredibly groundbreaking or revolutionary about this game; I believe that the pure simplicity makes it out to be as great as it is. There are plenty of survival games that have far more features, better graphics, and tons of mod support- but none of them make me FEEL the way that this game does. This game proves once again that you don't need flashy graphics for a good game. A good game is built around how fun it is to actually play and Valheim is extremely addicting and hard to put down. Plus, it's only 20 dollars and in early access meaning there's tons of room to improve the very few complaints I have. If you haven't bought Valheim already- do yourself a favor and pull the trigger on it.

It's been awhile since I've played a game that's so fantastic I felt compelled to leave a glowing review, yet here we are. I wanted to wait until I'd at least finished the game, and having just finished it; I can confidently say that this is one of the best story driven games I have ever played. Detroit: Become Human isn't just following a story, it's about becoming those characters and you get to actually decide their outcome. Games in which the developer has taken the time to think of every decision effecting a grand overall outcome really are the best because it feels like the story is catered just for you. The graphics are mind boggling; I may not have the most powerful build on the planet, but playing this game was like playing my way through a movie. The graphics are easily cinema quality and what you should expect from a big game in 2020. The story is incredibly powerful and the fact that I can go back through and play it all again and do things different just makes it better. Connor, Markus, and Kara are all well rounded, dynamic characters. They're capable of making you feel that androids can actually feel. Then, there's the little things. By making you choose to open every door, by having you enter an input rather than watching a cut-scene gives a better feeling of connection to the characters; giving one the impression that they're really playing that person. There's also the android in the title screen who will talk to you, until well- spoilers. This game strips away at your humanity and makes you ask yourself, could this really happen? To me, this is going down in my top 10 favorite games of all time and in a high position.
I think this game is worthy of game of the year.
