Companies are doing everything in their power to destroy the concept of ownership itself. Always online live-service games are the first step to ensuring that you will have no control over the game you buy and download. As small as the PSN requirement may seem, just realize it's the first step in cementing that.

I have used this software for years, despite it's many flaws and issues. It's a very easy to use video editing software and for people like me it's been a great help for making and editing large scale long form content. However this company is trash and is actually violating basic consumer law. That being the fact that when you buy a perpetual license you shouldn't expect the company to go deactivate that license at will and force you to spend $150 to rebuy the newer version of a product you already bought.

Actually evil.
