While I love the game, it's hard to recommend in its current state. I'm not referring to balance, endgame, or similar aspects—I understand it's still in early access, and this is not the final version. However, I strongly feel the game needs optimization as soon as possible because it runs terribly.

My mistake was assuming it would perform well on my older system (GTX 1070, i7-6700HQ, 32GB RAM). Since Diablo IV runs smoothly without lag or significant FPS drops, I expected Path of Exile 2 to do the same, but I was wrong.

What’s worse, the game performs horribly even on my girlfriend’s PS5. Even with FSR enabled in performance mode, the FPS often drops well below 30. Typically, I enjoy playing minion builds, but they’re particularly laggy when many summons are on screen, so I had to switch to a ranger or mercenary. Unfortunately, even then, the game becomes unbearably laggy when large groups of mobs appear.

Another issue is with stash tabs. On PS5, I have 4 upgraded basic stash tabs (converted to premium), as well as currency, gem, flask, delirium, and essence tabs. However, when I logged into the PC version, all my characters were there, but my stash tabs were flagged as "remove-only." This feels incredibly unfair—not only do players have to pay separately for early access on different platforms, but we also have to pay for tabs again. Stash tabs should be account-bound, not platform-bound. I hope this is just a bug and something that can be easily fixed. If not, it feels like a scam.

That being said, I haven’t had this much fun playing an ARPG since Diablo 2. Despite its issues, the core gameplay and potential of Path of Exile 2 are incredibly exciting.

GGG, I love both Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2, but please optimize the game to a playable state and address the stash tab issue.

even after few months after release, it still disconnects me from the server, I'm finally starting to enjoy it and I'm having a blast slaying monsters, and then it kicks me out the server, the connection has timed out and similar, I have 1gigabit internet speed, and every other game works pretty well, expect for this one...

one other thing, the map reset when travelling to town is horrible, they should remove it, I don't know which part of the map I already explored and which I didn't, it makes me mad when my inventory gets full.

I'll change the review to positive as soon as the game is fixed, I really wanted to give it my time while waiting for PoE2.

I have it on Battlenet, it's just a sad game, and my time feels wasted, if you want a real game, just play Diablo II: Resurrected

please make the other added languages as an optional content, the latest update took too much free space for something we won't even use.

We need more games like this, I hope another one is coming, the game is just amazing, one of the best out there.
Monster Hunter should take some notes from this one.
Pawn system is just great, and the AI is not bad at all, I just really hope we will get another Dragon's Dogma soon which will be even greater than this one.

Good combat with no movement locking, tab targeting, a lot of mounts/pets, decent graphics.

Pay 2 win, terrible optimization, bugs, bad UI.
