I Like Cheeseburgers
The Best Cheeseburger Recipes

Ingredients:

-1 pound of ground beef (80/20 or 85/15 fat ratio)
-4 hamburger buns
-4 slices of American cheese
-4 leaves of lettuce
-4 slices of tomato
-4 slices of red onion
-Ketchup
-Mustard
-Salt
-Pepper
-Vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions:
-Preheat your grill or a large skillet on medium-high heat.
-Divide the ground beef into four portions and shape each portion into a patty that is about 1/2 inch thick.
-Season the patties generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
-Grease the grill or skillet with vegetable oil to prevent the patties from sticking.
-Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they are well browned and cooked through
to your desired level of doneness.
-When the patties are almost done, place a slice of American cheese on top of each patty and let it melt.
-Toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned.
-Assemble the cheeseburgers by placing a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, and a slice of red onion on
the bottom half of each bun.
-Place a cheese-covered patty on top of the vegetables, followed by a squirt of ketchup and mustard to
taste.
-Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
