Off to a great start! Hoping to see the customization expanded upon. As far as the racing/gameplay goes I'm perfectly satisfied with it in its current state as a vehicle for progression, my main focus is always customization but the racing itself is also very fun and solid. We've been in a slump with racing games for quite some time now so this has been a big hit of copium, it eclipses most big hitters in the genre right now despite being in what I assume to be a pretty barebones pre-release state. I've been waiting for a solid game to put this much care and consideration into car customization for basically over a decade now (no, NFS is not scratching the itch).

Some ideas for additional customization I have are:
-Ability to paint individual parts, or set to carbon fiber. (Carbon fenders, mirror caps, different colored body kits, etc.) This would be very convenient versus doing it in the vinyl editor. As a carbon fender enjoyer this I'd get full advantage of this.
-Customizable spoilers (piece together different mounts, end caps, etc. adjust size)
-Aftermarket head/tail lights, tint and tape x covers for them as well
-Tunable wheel specs would go crazy, like dish depth, concave, etc.
-Also full paint options for wheels, the current metal colors do look very good for most builds tho
-OEM wheels on different makes/models
-tunable tire specs for stretch/meaty tires
-Exhaust tip customization separate from rear bumper, tunable size/angle also would be awesome
-Wide fenders would be cool, even just generic Genki ones would suffice
-Window tint
-Interior customization ?
-Trunk audio?????
-Airbag suspension??????
-Mod support (Unreal engine??????)
-Tools for importing liveries/decals made outside of the game, modders have already figured this out for replacing existing decals but I'd love to just throw a full livery together in Photoshop or something and import it onto the vehicle.

All just things I'd love to see added/expanded on, as I stated previously the game in its current state is already doing many things VERY well, I'm confident this will serve as a solid foundation for what's to come and I'm very excited to see where this game goes in its continued development. I believe this game has the potential to course-correct the genre and somewhat already has through its positive perception and generally simple concept compared to AAA racing games like Forza, GT, Test Drive, etc. who are basically all collectively dropping the ball and consistently dropping mid-at-best games for years now.

Aged like milk. This was a chore to play. The storyline is like a childish action movie at best with extremely shallow commentary/deeper meaning. They force you to spare the antagonist, which overall makes next to no sense at all given the hundreds of bodies Artyom has racked up by the end. While the environments and world design are very good that's about it, the combat is terrible and a chore, the game feels the need to bombard you with dogsh*t boss fights at every turn, the balancing on ranger difficulty is god awful, not challenging so much as it is tedious. Thankfully im caught up on Artyom's lore now so I can move onto the next two games. Metro has potential as a story/world but this game is not remotely fun. Hopefully Exodus is better.

I'm very much on board with the concept. I typically couldn't care less about the driving aspect of a racing game so long as it has the kind of customization promised by the likes of this game, NFS Unbound, etc. In fact the actual "Racing" aspect of most racing (more appropriately labelled "car") games is usually chore at best. Unfortunately, despite my usual ambivalence I still couldn't bare the handling in this game and the customization doesn't appear nearly as fleshed out as the marketing would lead on. I played CarX DRO so I'm familiar, most of the content is copied over from that game.

While a $20 pricepoint, countless delays, and a foundation built on a MOBILE GAME (SMH) does not set the bar high, I'm sure updates will eventually get this game there, just falls short right now. Pass.

Great game. However, every time I play it I can't help but wonder why I'm doing virtual chores on a video game instead of just cleaning my own house, so I typically promptly pause it and go do dishes or something.
