Was fun when it was hyped up, kinda boring now

Hard but fun

I absolutely loved my playthrough of Hob! This game swallowed me into a world with little backstory or explanation to what is happening. The game is almost completely left up to you to explore, and with what backstory IS included in the beginning cutscene, it gives you just enough to understand the main concept (or at least part of it) and allows to to explore the world at your will.

To a casual player who just wants to complete it, they will be left with many questions because the game wants you to explore to find out why the world of Hob is in turmoil. Completing the game just by doing what we'll call the main story is not where the meat and potatoes of the beauty of the game is.

To the adventurer, all the secrets and new plot points you can discover in a playthrough is amazing. There is not a single word of dialouge in the whole game yet the story is beautifully portayed in visuals. There were some secrets that were crazy subtle but doable. I haven't yet explored the different "suits" that Hob can take on, but by the looks of it there is nothing added to the story from them.

Hob is a breathtaking game. The game mechanics itself may be simple, but the soundtrack and the visuals are some of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. I loved the addition of what I am calling the "Eagle Eye" spots where Hob sits or stands and looks out into the distance and the HUD disappears while you sit there and look. Those spots are my favorite in the game to just take in the enviornment.

Great dungeon game with a high skill cap, and with lots of secrets!

This is my first Counter Stike game, this is an AMAZING game. Totally worth the $15 spend
