I have barely scratched the surface of this game but I can already tell you that I am addicted. A wonderful hybrid of both Fatal Labyrinth and Resident Evil.

If you're familiar with Fatal Labyrinth on the Sega Genesis, they you know what gameplay is like. It's a grid based system and you pick up items on each floor of the dungeon. Some items (equipment) you must identify to use, some items (hexes) are there to be thrown at enemies to cause status ailments, serums are a gamble that have the chance to either help or hurt you (and can also be thrown at enemies).

The gameplay loop thus far has been incredibly fun and if you enjoy dungeon crawlers, I would certainly recommend it.

It's crazy how fast time flies when playing this game; a credit to the makers, as I blinked and ten hours of my life had passed. It seamlessly blends multiple genres (FPS, Platforming, and I'd even argue Puzzle) into a single game and boasts a striking visual presence.

Though I have only completed up to chapter 6 so far, I feel confident enough to recommend Neon White to players looking for something new. It has roped me in completely and I've been replaying missions until achieving Ace medals and acquiring the gifts in each of the levels. No stage thus far has overstayed its welcome.

Not the best remake (as others have stated, there's quite a bit of wonky behaviour in game mechanics that weren't present in the original arcade) but still absolutely worth a playthrough for people looking for a decent beat 'em up to play with friends. More so if you catch it on sale.

When I have nothing else to do and want to keep busy, this game is a good way to accomplish that. Nice, repetitive game loop.

An interesting game. It follows the usual formula of PSX-like horror titles but with a surreal flare; I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the creators were inspired by LSD Dream Simulator. Though I haven't gotten every ending as of yet, I've enjoyed what I've played. The puzzles and visuals are interesting.

A shame that the game is going to be de-listed soon, but I'm happy that I got to experience it before it was.

Despite the negative review, it isn't an absolutely terrible game and could likely be fun with friends. My complaints are: characters don't have weight to them, map design felt worse compared to the first game, and obstacles feel less clear. Last complaint would be about the visuals; I feel like it lost its identity and charm in switching them up to what we have now.

After spending more time with it, 100% worth it for the price - even in early access. It takes a minute to understand the workings (maybe a tutorial level would be better than the clipboard for those that learn by doing), but otherwise, it's an addicting game.

As far as farming games go, Sun Haven has - at least so far - been my favorite. The main reason? There isn't a daily stamina restriction. When I play a farming game, having a daily restriction on how much I can do can be aggravating for a number of reasons.

Co-op is nice, though I do have a minor complaint for it: when using text chat, having to manually press the talk button to look and see if someone's responded can be annoying. Otherwise, if using voice, it's a seamless experience.

All in all, it's a good game and one of the leading ones in the genre for me.

Naked guy murdered my friend and then stood in front of my locker, flashing me for ten minutes.
