The amount of RNG on the second puzzle make fishing for a gold ticket more about luck rather than communication and teamwork, which imho breaks the whole deal of the game, felt like lazy design.

Usually this wouldn't be enough to warrant a negative review also, but considering the game has only 3 levels, this makes it a huge portion of the game, and it's very likely the puzzle you're gonna be spending the most time in if you don't get lucky with rng the first couple tries. Frustrating to get cockblocked by RNG at the least.

Also, the voice chat only works for the first 3-5 minutes, then stops working for the remainder of the session.

Game is pretty and the collect and merge band members (totally not a copy of brotato's weapons) mechanic is cool, specially how that affects the music you hear by the instruments they play.

HOWEVER, it's just a metronome game with a background music that barely syncs to the beat you're moving in, in addition, the buttons you press doesn't matter at all. It was a simple "move in 4:4" mechanic just so they could afford to call it a rhythm game.

I reckon it would be more enjoyable as a regular game with interesting band forming mechanics and an amazing sound track, rather than forcing shallow and boring "keep up with the beat" mechanic.

Also, played with a character that had the animation lock for movement the exact same length as the beat time, could literally just button mash as long as I got the first beat on time and didn't run into enemies while doing it.

Blizzard as always making the game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with every update. Doing anything else is a time better spent than playing this.

It's okay, I guess...

--------

Update after another 3000 hours of gameplay. Raiding perspective.

Classes get simpler and more straightforward with every update, which is good if you're a casual player, but if you like that extra spicyness and challenge of trying to do good with a slightly more complicated class you're out of luck, there's barely one anymore.

The encounters however seem to be getting harder to compensate the ease of gameplay from the classes, though that might give you some headache on progs and reclears if you're a pug player.

Healers are boring, they all play too much alike and in all of them you'll spend 90% of your time attacking with a single button (cause that's all you have for attacking most of the time), unless you're playing with a team of brainless potatoes you'll hardly face any challenge on healing a fight whatsoever.

Even though the game provides you with cool options to do old content, you'll have some issues finding people who actually want to do them synced (proper level/power), most of old content is done unsync just for cosmetics speedfarm. Which imho is kinda disappointing since there's some really cool fights in there.

I would still recommend you try this out, it's a cool experience and the fights are very well designed. If you care about story in MMOs then you're definitely going to like it (provided you don't quit during the base game which is ZZZ). For more endgame/raiding focused players you might get bored of the content earlier than you expect, still worth giving it a shot.

Price is unfair, I expected a way bigger base map for the price. Compared to ETS2 the base game looks like a demo.

Bought this game in december 2016 and only started playing it a couple months ago, I had given up to it due to my pc taking ages to load and the community just used to kick me during the load times (lol, I know)

turns out, with a new HDD, it loads quite fast and I haven't encountered many toxic people yet, you can hide the text chat and mute the voice chat for the toxic people so that point is easily manageable.

As for the game itself: worth every penny, it's improved in so many ways since when I bought it a year ago, constant updates with nice content, and it's so much fun to play with friends.

And considering it's Ubisoft (you know what I'm talking about) I'm legitimately surprised, I expected far less when I bought this...

Early Access Review
Despite being in Alpha and currently having a bit of performance issues, this game is super fun and will recommend it to everyone, the matches are long and have a great pace, neither too fast or too low.

The community is very nice, if you get in and tell you're a newcommer chances are you will almost certainly find good people who are willing to help you on the basics. If you've got a thing for tactical fps' then I'd say this game is the perfect choice for you.

Oh and, consder enlisting for a milsim clan to enjoy the full experience the game can offer...
