First off i will say its not a bad game
i just feel other games did it better, games like rogue genesia, brotato, death must die.

its was too easy to get a feeling of just winning the game early on and then you are stuck there for another hour or maybe more just waiting to get to the end. But there isnt an end, there is a looping mechanic which feels bad because it took so long to get there so you know it will take just so long to finish it

my last run i pick a paladin went with as many summons as i could get. I managed to max my character maybe 25% of the way through the third zone if im remembering correctly so you just get generic rewards of more money or soulcoins after that and items have quantity limits on them so eventually you get 8 to 12 artifact cubes each wave/zone which end up being the same 4 items for 95% of the ones you open which have a positive and a negative attribute to them so you just sell every single one

interesting system they have is an artifact vault which can hold up to 4 copies of each artifact(each item) you find.
but you dont automatically fill the vault after each run, you need to manually click each item then add it to the vault.
what makes it worse is each item that isnt common rarity has a random stat added to it, so you will be there comparing items to see which one you would prefer to have saved in your vault for each run, there is a helpful star and up arrow on items that are in the vault or an upgraded rarity of a stat on an item but an upgrade in rarity doesnt always mean the item is better so you have to manually check each "upgrade" comparing it with another item to see if its better or worse

it feels like its just trying to copy good ideas from other great games and mash it all together to make a good game but it just doesnt work

seems fun making stupid things
create a colony of tree lovers who need trees around in a arid/desert and watch them all break down
try create a religion from a single man who wants to be blind but has no one to gouge his eyes out so he eventually has an emotional breakdown and walks into a hive to get eaten
good 2-3 hours of fun so far

First saints row game i have played and i enjoyed it alot
there is alot of diversity within the characters
feels alot better to play than grand theft auto, it doesnt take itself too seriously
in doing so it has almost completely shut down its story so there wont be a chance for a sequel (gat out of hell cant really be counted as one imo)
there is alot to do and collect, the activities dont get tedious or repetitive the balance seems right with the quantity and diversity

felt like dlc to sr4 rather than a stand alone game
good for the story (the little of it there was) not much else to it tho
buy it on sale its not worth full price
someone couldnt pay me to play this knowing how it is
it lacks substance, alot of the activities are only able to be played once as there is no ranking on them
