my keyboard broke because of this game, i rate 10/10

As much as I love CDPR for giving us the Witcher series, I don't recommend this game. A lot of the promised features are missing and it feels very rushed. It really is a waste as this game could've toppled Witcher as their greatest game for this decade yet i guess CDPR dreamed too big together with us.

If you enjoy a good story line though and nothing else then get this game since aside from the beauty of night city and its details there is not much life and choices surrounding it which is a far cry from what CDPR has been marketing the game to be.

Ni no kuni has been one of the best rpg games I have played in a long time. Im so glad i bought the two games (both 1 & 2) when it went for sale. It combines all the favorite things i like from other games such as taming familiars (pokemon/persona), strategic battles (dragon age) and alot of rpg elements combined with the marvelous visual art and music from studio ghibli.

Alas everything is not perfect without imperfection and the only two things i can comment on this is the lack of mana resources or mana return skill to perform magic skills making the player rely on just pure attack to save mana or spam provisions and drink mana pots. Also the unbalanced familiar Dinoceros which allowed me to spam through the game basically with two skills (which i know is avoidable if i dont use him but hes too good!). Combat is basically : Whats that? this enemy is strong against fire? and weak to water? nah fudge that Ill just BELLY BUSTER ALL THE WAY! or Oh? multiple enemies? hmm i should use cc on other enemy and pressure them one by one, JOKE! EARTH SPLITTER ALL THE WAY!

Anyways I had alot of fun with this game. Im really satisfied with it and even with some imperfections I still call this game a masterpiece and i urge every person who like rpg offline games to try and support it! We need more games like this none of those online crap microtransactions. On to Ni no Kuni 2 I go!!
