If you miss old Battlefield, this is the game for you! Joining on friends could be a little more streamlined, but it's manageable. Parachutes might be nice to have, but I'm not sure if there's a reason why they haven't been implemented yet/ever. Other than those two things, game is fun and the Devs seem like they genuinely want to make it as fun as it can possibly be.

While grindy, I think this game is a lot of fun. Leveling can can stale and repetitive and money management can be a little bit of an issue, but I think it works well enough for the pacing of the game. I mean it's fishing, you could fill up your fish keeper in half an hour or it could take you 2 hours.
To be smart about things you'd have to do a little research, whether it be reading some guides or watching some youtube videos cause venturing past the first two maps could be a little pricey. However if you manage your trip right you could make a lot of money and get a lot of xp.
I do feel that this game could use a better tutorial explaining all of the mechanics. The rods and reels could have "stats" like speed and stuff that are at least easier explained for people who arent very fishing savvy. This would help in building a set up that works how you want to without regretting it later.

All in all I would give this game a solid 8/10 cause it's fun and scratches the itch to want to fish but it could use a little more work.
