Back in 2019, at first, I was like "what can be that amazing about this game, and why everyone keeps talking about it?". Some GotY nominations made me intrigued, so I bought it, and, well, didn't play it properly for like 2 years or something?

Whatever, here are we now with the Final Cut, and boy this game is astonishing. It finally revives the ancient craft of putting some meaning in this R letter of RPG, and that's quite an achievement. I'm amazed by how well all the storylines are intertwined with each other, all drawing to an unexpected conclusion in the end—and that being said, how high a quality the writing in this game came out to be. A once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Final Cut brings some fine additions to spice things up, the most notable of those being voice acting. I think Jullian Champenois deserves the highest praise for his part as Lt. Kitsuragi. And, of course, shout out to Mikee Goodman for Ancient Reptilian Brain and his other parts. And some special mentions go to Lenval Brown for the narration—must've been a hell of a work.

The game deserves all the praise it has received in the past two years, and the Final Cut is the peak of its quality. Don't think, just buy it and give it a go—you'll enjoy it.
