Story
Really griping, had me invested in the characters from start to finish. The story feels incredibly personal and authentic. The way this game shows you the struggles each character faces is really well done. I sympathized with all of them. The overview of the branching life paths also adds a lot of context and presents each life path in a well-integrated way. There was one moment in the story where all of the alters celebrated their journey, and it felt really genuine and well-done!

Gameplay
Survival management game where you have to manage resources and assign crew members to jobs mixed with exploration. There are time limits in in-game days where you have to execute several tasks before the sun catches up with you moving base. I see a lot of people who didn't like the time pressure and in general I hate time pressure in games as well, but on default difficulty I always felt like I had plenty of time. And I really liked that in the late game, you are given really overpowered tech that makes some aspects of the game much easier.

Vibes
I loved the dark sci-fi atmosphere. The game is really pretty. The planet genuinely feels inhospitable. You can feel the hardships and desperation in the air.

Summary
The story and the gameplay complement each other incredibly well. This really surprised me because it's usually the opposite in most games. I found all aspects of this game to be really engaging. This already feels like my Game of the Year! 10/10
