After playing doki doki literature club, I had to put down my "Japanese Artstic Film" for a while because honestly, I was afraid those tentacles where gonna take over the screen and keep me in an eternal limbo. Luckily for me though, this game was featured on the steam store, because it was on sale. I pop it open and am immediatly immersed in the universe, the beutiful colors, challenging combat, and mysterious gameplay combine in a perfect way that rewards the gamer who takes a closer look. As a man who soley watches "Japanese Artistic Film" for the plot this was right down my alley. Now I'm no MLG gamer (mainly due to the fact that my left arm is exponentially stronger than my right due to plot theorizing) but I guaruntee you will die at least once to the north boss. I died countless times and never felt frusterated because the combat is simple but has a high skill cap, so when you die it's your fault (unlike when your crunchyroll account crashes for no Josh darn reason). To top it off the story is elusive enough to keep you wondering, but not annoyingly lackluster too the point where the devs put less effort into their story than you did to finding it out. I can't say the same for most "Japanese Artistic Film" so I give this game a pass. I would have liked to see some anime boobies, but hey I'll take this anyday.
