started playing at 5pm it's now 5am and i'm just now realizing i haven't ate or drank anything since. so i guess it's alright

contains KOHCTPYKTOP, my absolute favourite and first love for these games

buy the game, buy the frickin ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game
it's not perfect but if there's any devs that deserve your $30 it's these guys

my only real qualms:

- where the actual HELL is the announcements log? once you dismiss alerts on the UI, they are gone. there is no longer a way to view past alerts and announcements. a core function of dwarf fortress, gone. I am almost certain this is a mistake or oversight, rather than intentional, and will hopefully be added back **ASAP** after the instability bugs are sorted out. so far I've only seen a single reddit post saying it's "on their radar" but it really should be a high priority.

- a number of UI elements force mouse usage. there's little to no UI tabulation, UI cannot be fully navigated with keyboard. hopefully they will improve this over time.
