This game is indescribably splendid in idea and execution. Swinging by a grappling hook through a quasi-aetherial biome is just :ok:

This game is unapologetically humorous and somewhat difficult. I'd recommend it if you feel like a cool dood.

Contrary to popular belief, this game is NOT a Minecraft clone; for it released first. That aside, Terraria is actually quite good fun, with everything from building to boss fights, and no microtransactions to boot. It even has Expert Mode and exclusive items for the more experienced players. All in all, this is a good game.

Edit: It has been a while, and even with the updates in between, I still uphold this opinion.
