This game is fantastic.

Honestly this game is pretty good, you'll have fun and there are new features reasonably often.

The main thing I want to address is the bad rap it gets. It's everywhere, people complaining in game as well as on every forum possible about balance. I'm constantly amazed at what people think freejam owes them personally and how many things they can find to complain about. Then there are the people who think the game was better in the olden days of early robocraft. I played since the beginning and although it was fun, it wasn't the astronomically mind-boggling amount of fun people would lead you to believe you would have had. Most robots were smg gunbed cruisers, and the ones that weren't got rekt. Plus you had to pay for every single armor cube. There was this one time in the top tier where every battle let me buy two or three top tier armor cubes. For my huge 900+ block tank. Yeah, not fun.
The game has changed and will continue to. For better or for worse, that's your decision. But I still have fun :)

10/10 simulates most accurate abortion sim

This is an absolutely amazing game. It has some roguelike aspects in the different endings, it still holds a challenge, the characters have personality, immersive story, it breaks the fourth wall in a good way, everything you do has a concequence, and the final bosses can be absolutely terrifying. 10/10.

I recently started playing this game, and i can say this: its entertaining. It is a f2p, so there are things to buy, but you can pretty much get all of the content without paying. Even if you do pay, you can only spend a total of 20$. All you really need unless you want to remove all progression is 10$.
