Honestly, this characters and whatever aren't what I am normally into, but this is a very capable and good Bullet Heaven, or whatever the genre is called. There are so many unlocks, and different characters (that all work different from each other).

I highly suggest picking this up to kill some time.

Got a good 16 or so hours in to see what the 'end game' looked like. Overall it killed time, but not 100% sure if I got my money's worth. There isn't really any build diversity its either one damage type over another and focus that, and then decide if you want turrets or garrisons.

I didn't hate the way the game played and it didn't feel like a chore but I am not sure if satisfying is what I would call it. I think if balance we re-approached and the game was more diverse with builds then this could do decently well.

I am also not a fan of the minimum deck size. I kept trying to banish cards and getting more rocks which frustrated me until I realized it was a mechanic (yes I skipped all tutorials so not sure if it was explained there). I think the whole banish/discard system needs a rework.

Did I hate it? No.
Did I love it? Also no.
Do I regret my purchase? Maybe, but for 10$ I can deal with it.

I will tentatively say yes, but look forward to a *very* short game if you hate it.

Game is weirdly addicting. Graphics are pretty good, abilities have impact. I actually have about another 25 hours in the demo. More or less unlocked everything. Definitely worth the purchase if you are looking for a VS-like.
