I will start by saying I only recommend this game if you get it for *quite* cheap and tend to enjoy colony sim games, like many others I got it from Humble choice and I thought it was quite the interesting game. I actually enjoyed the few hours I put into it, the game is interesting, it looks nice (apart from some of the guis) and it is an incredibly interesting concept. I usually find myself playing colony sim games in a binge format which is possibly the least healthy way to digest these but whatever. My point for stating this is that you tend to find the flaws of a game like this when you play for several hours in a row and let me tell you, this game has flaws.

Just to start...
* No priority queue, there is only low neutral and high, and the highest isn't always prioritized
* the AI for the colonists (dwarves) is not the brightest tends to get stuck, and gets sidetracked easily (this would be remedied by better priority)
* placement of anything can be weird, with no snappoints (tracks can be placed anywhere not just on a station, meaning you can miss a gap and spend lots of time finding it)
* Money is ultimately meaningless and only used to sustain your colonists
* Reputation with other nations means nothing, just better prices for nothing specifc.
* Lumber, a very important resource is incredibly sparse, unreasonably so.
* research is incredibly cheap, meaning you will have all tech within a few hours.

All of those flaws being listed, I would still recommend the game, but not in the state that it is in today. There is a lot of room for improvement and honestly most of those are QoL changes, and generic improvements like making the game make more sense, balancing resources more so that you actually have to manage what your colonists are doing, or face consequences. things just to make things that happen in the game more ***meaningful*** to something.

TL;DR this game is REALLY(!!!) cool and I thoroughly enjoyed it through what would usually be game breaking flaws, namely the meaninglessness of most mechanics. The only reason is because its a new(er)-ish take on a colony sim, and has a lot going for it, as well as visual appeal. The only reason I dont regret paying (through humble choice) is because I got it for pretty cheap and the game is in Early Access being updates as little as a month ago (at the time of writing).

The game is dead, playerbase is nonexistant the people you do find are like *really* good at the game for some reason(??)

the game would be fun if there were people to play with, just a game you could just hop in a game and mess around in, it basically has potential but a dead playerbase. this would only be partially remedied by making it f2p. so RIP to this game.

This game is like an abusive ex-wife. I have loved this games since destiny 1 and this one was no exception. It is always well made, in the sense that the gunplay is unrivaled by literally any other game I have played. But it is also good until it isnt, the content does run dry and get repetitive eventually and there just isnt something you haven't done yet, and getting there might even be more boring than being there, sometimes. And emphasis on sometimes. It isnt all boring. I actually enjoy the game, but Bungie occasionally makes a stupid decision, or tries to charge you for a DLC that isnt big enough (that they will eventually make free?!) and I cant help myself but to keep going...

Also I'm upset the completely removed the Red War. That was actually a good campaign??? and they replaced it with something quite small. They stated its something they will re-add or cycle through eventually. but that just sounds like they don't know what they're doing with it either...

In the end, I still love this game. I enjoy playing it. Bungie really knows how to make a game, they just need more money and it shows in the gameplay model and some of the gameplay loops. I hope it gets better.

Although I haven't played a lot. I really enjoy this game. The shooting feels really good. I would compare it to Destiny 2's feeling of shooting even. very fast paces. quite fun. and its free

This game is amazing. I love it and wish I could play more of it. Keyword there is wish, I am left handed (one of 10% of the population) and I dont use WSAD, I use P;L" which is basically the perfect opposite of WSAD, and if you've played enough you know P is a key that opens a menu and cannot be rebound. I would rebind my keys using another software but I believe you shouldn't have to use other software to rebind keys in a game.

I really hope hello games changes this and allows for it. I've already contacted support and will update this if I ever get a resolution.

I've played a little bit, good so far

This game just has so much to it. 26 hours in and I know there's so much more to see and do in the game. Its just rife with content. Easy to play but definitely hard to master.
