Waited quite a while for this little gem since a next fest long gone, a hazy memory at best when the notification appeared on my phone notifying me that the game had released.
As you may expect my response was enlightened an eloquent "what the f**k is LocoMotive, I don't remember wish listing this!" shortly followed by "Hey wifey whats this S**t you wishlisted on my steam?!" to the reply of "mmMMhMhMM" ah yeah shes upstair and thus this convo is rather unhelpful.
Still 15mins later as a quick review of the steam page we remembered the wonderful point and click comedy adventure with lashings of mystery was purchased and downloaded.
With hints of monkey island and plenty of personality the game was completed in 10 short hours without as much as a break to argue about why the solution makes absolutely no sense or to highlight that the characters could walk above objects in the foreground.
Still I would have liked more but then as a great entertainer once said always leave them wanting more and this title does that quiet nicely and I will look forward to more games from this studio!

Me and the wifey have spent many a relaxing hour playing this small and cheap co-op title.
The dev is very responsive and deserves admiration for dedication to the player base.
Its not a be all and end all of mining games but certainly scratches the itch and has been time and money well spent.
Try the demo if your not sure but for such a minor price its a good game to pick up for a small group of friends

The game took just over two hours to complete, but even if it had been under I don't think I'd complain, it was a lot of laughs and fun to play with a lot of crazy and sometimes dark humour.
I would recommend it and say that its worth noting there is a lot of rather British humour that might not appeal to all but for me it was on point.
I wont spoil it but the ending felt so Monty Python and made me laugh, a wonderful way to end this wonderful little adventure.

Good game, clever and rewarding puzzles, but I would note this is not a game for children and deals with some very adult themes and subject matters which are not mentioned in the description at all so be warned its a great game but mildly disturbing as you sink further into what is quite a horrific story.

I feel the achievements knew how the game was going,
as I finally got my partner to stop playing with the lazer beam,
up it rose from the darkness like a spectre of things yet to come
"I need a drink" it read almost like it had peered into my soul and saw my pain.

I took my drink and decided now was the time to purchase the full game, a choice I feel that would come back to haunt me in the best of ways.

This was a lot of fun for free, my compliments to the chef or developer if you prefer that wording.
Lot of good humour and fun puzzles well worth a time to play it through.
Will be telling friends to play just for the pure gold of that ending.

Well a lot of people complaining but me the misses and a friend all got it on discount and played through, we got to the self destruct before finally running out of time and all dying in a explosion of fire and hate for the monster that seems to know what your objective is and thus patrols those areas relentlessly.

To be honest for the 4 quid I paid and the good 3 hours of gameplay I've had out of the two tries we have put in I would firmly recommend the game but admit it has little replay value as the objectives are the same each time so it will become old pretty fast but given that we will most likely give in a few weeks before playing again I can see us revisiting periodically over the next few months or so.

Atmosphere was tense and energetic, minigames engaging but simple enough to do without even seeing the tutorials.
Generally a damn good offering from an indie studio.

Best played with friends on a private server due to issues with people blocking resources or even your own base in online games.
Also not that solo it can be very hard to get past the starter bosses (see one huge bear in the cave if you disagree lol)
Still lot of fun and makes me want to suck more....

Half way through the game I was presented with a interaction that when I attempted to do (you have to do this to continue the story its not optional) the game didn't perform the interaction but took the item required from my inventory and then stopped me from interacting with anything else, I looked online and found this bug has been in the game since day one by the looks of it and the dev just ignored everyone's complaints and never fixed it leaving players with a unplayable game. Well I say unplayable you can start all over again and just hope it doesn't happen again and you get past it or give up and never finish the game.

Can be a bit buggy as stated in other reviews but its also a good little time waster and unintentionally funny to boot.
I'd try the free demo if you haven't already as its entertaining for a couple hours
