Sometimes, when I lie awake at night, I dream of slenderman. I don't know why, but he comes into my mind and I can't get him out. I imagine him walking up to my bed and staring down at me as I stare back, horrified, unable to move, scream, or even think. Then, I imagine him leaning down and whispering something in my ear, "Shhh, only dreams now," and then I wake up. I'm very confused. Am I in a dream? Was it all a waking dream? Was it real? Am I sleeping now? Am I awake? Is there any truth to my life? Do I even exist? Am I alive? Am I dead? Are dreams real? Are you real? What is real? What is what? What is? is?
