The year was 2016. I had just tamed my first rex ever on north island 2. I put on his beautiful primitive saddle and headed out to the northeast shores to level it up. Around 31/81, a thunderous stomping on the ground started to get my attention. I looked back and a grey creature 3 times the size of my rex comming from the base of the mountain, in just a few bites, killed it, killing me without me even seeing my executioner with details. Suddenly I'm at the respawn screen with a red message above saying "you were killed by a Giga level 15". I had no idea such creature even existed in the game. It was the first time I had contact with one.
