The simulation handling model is a little broken. The rally routes are a little repetitive and there are only 5 rally locations. But the handling model on gamer is excellent, the career mode is great. The car selection was better than any other rally game until Dirt Rally 2.0. The day/night options are STILL better than any other rally game, and combined with the enormous number of weather settings means that each location can look drastically different at slightly different times (4am is very different from 6am, which is different from 8am, etc.). It really helps the game feel fresh.

It's not the best rally game ever, but it's a very solid one.
8/10 if you play with gamer physics

I love this damn game. I love the tracks, the way the combat works, the handling (or lack thereof) of the vehicles. I love the world they built and it's even quite pretty. I just wish they'd ported the last DLC to the playstation so I could play it all on there too.

much, much better than in DR1. about as good as in D4 (less variety but a bit more realism).
plus the price is v low, like Monte Carlo.
a must-buy if you like DR2.0, especially if you didn't play much of DR1

I own this as part of the deluxe so I didn't buy it separately, but wow is it ever worth the asking price. $4.65 CAD is very, very good.
High hopes for getting the rest of the DR 1 stages after Season 1 ends.

if you like the Dirt series, sim racing games, or rallying/rallycross in general, this is the game you want. it has the same amount of content as the first Dirt Rally, except pretty much everything is better. just remember: it's very hard.
