For me, this game is essentially broken. Me and my flatmates were looking forward to a simple racing kart game as a replacement for our N64 emulator and Mario Kart setup.

We played this for an hour or so, but all essentially agreed the steering in Coffin Dodgers simply isn't up to scratch, it just isn't fun in the way a game like this is supposed to be, especially for multiplayer.

Will revisit it at some point if there are more updates to the mechanics.

For reference, we were playing it with Logitech F710 pads, not keyboard or whatever. I'm sure it's possible this was the weak link in the chain, so to speak.

Never before has a game captivated me and my friends so much with the simple task of attempting to grab a box of cereal.

There was a point where we got spotted, and literally, the 3 of us were on our feet hurling abuse at a well meaning housewife for trying to buy cereal.

As brilliant and funny as it is bizarre.

So much like Diablo 2, and clearly very deliberately so. I love it, for that reason.
