The depth of this game never ends. You can't go wrong playing Dota for the rest of forever.

The type of game you can just sit down at and get lost for hours.

Never Alone could have been an outstanding showcase of taking games beyond their cultural norms, into the realms of documentaries and educational medias. It does everything right; appealing visuals, characters, music, documentaries. The one thing it lacks though is actual gameplay.

Never Alone is a simple platformer with some unique puzzles thrown in. That alone, would have been enough to make this an outstanding game alongside everything else it offers. What troubles this game though and why I can't recommended it is the controls. For a game with such simple platforming mechanics, the controls completely failed and/or brought about numerous bugs. Oftens times I wondered how much time went into testing this game. I quickly lost drive to learn more in the documentaries seeing the total number left as only a countdown until I would be done with this game.

If you feel like you can stomach the sluggish, unresponsive controls and glitches in this game to experience the novelty that's offered, I recommend it, I played it after all. But if you want to play a game that's enjoyable on all accounts, specifically the main one of moving through the world, I'd pass. The controls bring this game down far too much.

It's not often I fall in love with a game. Sure there are great games out there that are fun and a joy to play. But I mean, really fall in love with a game, that's a rare thing. Everything in this game I absolutely love!! The environment, the characters, the music, the combat, the story, the graphics, the detail. Anything you could find to nit-pick about a game, I love in Remember Me!

That being said, it's really hard for me to nit-pick at anything. Sure, the linearity of the game can be scrutinized but that's only because this world is so gorgeous and inviting that I want to explore more! Or perhaps the repetitive combat? The combo lab can add so much more! Everything about this game screams that it needs a sequel. The chance to give you everything missing from this game. And that's what the reviews of this game gripe on, everything that's missing, instead of enjoying everything that's already in it and what it offers.

That's the sad part. The mass of gamers will probably glance over this game based on it's review ratings. I encourage you to look past the ratings and to buy this game. It will introduce you to a world that you want to see more of and that you want to explore more in. Hopefully the success will warrant a sequel and we all can continue to enjoy this creative, original game.

Remember you soon.

Edit: Have to update this review as I'll always support it for a Steam Award!

A decent murder mystery game by Rockstarr Games. This isn't the type of game you play for the action and gunfire. You play as a detective and it's best to follow the law. So sit back, put the clues together and watch the case unfold.

My complaint with the game is it seems to drag on. By the fourth Act there isn't anything new brought to the game. It felt like they tried rushing the story arc in the third act and couldn't fit it in so they added one more but then dropped the story that they were rushing.

This is the story to Lara's first adventure and it's told nicely! You start as the weak, scared girl you'd expect of someone in their early twenties as their ship just crashed on an uncharted island. Story progression and experiences lead her to be the couragoues young woman that you know of Lara. And it's done perfectly, at the end of the game you feel like you could handle any future adventure you find.

The gameplay is a great platformer that when comes to combat gives you the decision of choosing between stealth or gunfire. Quicktime scenes add to the adventure and if you fail, provide some of the most grusome deaths Lara has ever had.

Play this game.

A nice little game with a gripping ending. It is a short game (3 hours max to beat) but still good.

A nice little side distraction. I thought there would be more humor to the game but it was mostly just dumbed down dirty slapstick comedy. If you're bored on a Sunday afternoon, this game will fill the time nicely.

I would say this is a must play game. The puzzles are a little easy, maybe they're more challenging on New Game Plus. Everything else you need in a great game is here though, combat, music, graphics, story. Just play this game already!
