What could I say that hasn't already been said?

I play for hours on end, and there's just so much to enjoy. Great music, great art, great content, great game.

10/10 - highly recommend. It's a nice little management game that has a good balance between demanding my attention, upgrades that let me stop paying attention, and cats that force me to slow down and let the game progress a little slower so I can get all the petting in. In other games of this ilk, I like to speed time up to just get the days over with, but the pet the cat mechanic here has me letting the in-game time tick by at a normal pace, just so I make sure I don't miss a cat. As the street gets longer, this gets harder, but it's something to obsess over while the rest of the game does its thing for the day.

Pros:
+easy to pick up
+great game for the price point
+pet the cats
+art style is exactly what I want from the game
+music is chill

Cons:
-what if I don't pet every cat?!
-the emotional damage that would cause me

A hyper-focus dream state. Progression feels good, building feels good. Do wish I could turn down the respawn timer on my solo file because having to listen to mutant joy over my corpse is demeaning and hurts my ego.

Fine, fine. Since the server situation has eased up, I can in good conscience rec this game again. I enjoy the updates and new features.

I wish yet again for a neutral recommendation. It has potential right now, but the controls make gameplay a little challenging in ways I do not wish to be challenged. Interacting with objects is difficult and requires multiple clicks, and moving the little character around isn't as easy as I want it to be. I really do like this game; I just don't think I would recommend it at the current price point and status of game play.

This is a relaxing sort of game with a pretty easy learning curve. The pre-set controls aren't quite intuitive for me, but I'm probably just too used to other games in the genre. It's easy to sit and vibe while in pushing your progress forward. As others have said, it's not perfect, and it's not polished yet, but it's a pretty good game for early access. If you're like me, and you don't rush things along, you can get a lot of game play out of this. Others seem to have rushed through it, but I like to take my time and explore, so price-wise it's not bad. I look forward to its full release.

I want to like this game, but in its current state, it's more frustrating to play than anything else. The bugs looks great, and the building is intuitive. So, there are elements I really like. I'll likely update this as the game changes and updates, but right now, I wish I'd waited to buy.

Frustrations:
-Jumping is very clunky. Sometimes I seem to bounce off where I'm heading, and I fall and have to start the climb over.
-When conversing with npcs, it's not intuitive to skip the dialogue to read at your own speed. I keep accidentally closing the window, which is frustrating when I'm mid-conversation and have to start all over again.
-I am frustrated by harvesting materials and then having to pick them up afterward. Why don't they just go into my inventory?
-The materials needed for progression are very far away from the starting area, behind enemies I'm not strong enough to fight solo. To craft weapons strong enough to fight them, I need the items beyond where they are. I'm not the best combat player, but this feels asinine.
-Some aspects of the graphics feel really dated.

I've genuinely enjoyed all the previous games in this series, but this one is very bugged right now. I can't recommend it at the moment because it's pretty broken. I haven't played solo yet, but playing online with a friend is glitchy, laggy, and not great to experience. The lag has caused some of our choices to be meaningless because it timed out or the glitchiness of it all caused a lot of confusion. I'm enjoying this only because my friend and I are making fun of how horrible the experience is. If the bugs get worked out, I'd say go for it. In its current state, take a hard pass.
