When this game first came out it was pretty rough compared to the predecessor Warhammer 2. But it does feel like CA have listened to the Total War Community and fixed a lot of those problems. Immortal Empires was a pipe dream only a few years ago and to see it here and working and with so much content is brilliant. Heres to hoping we can continue to see out the rest of the potential the game has.

As soon as I started playing this it reminded me of Super Metroid, which is great. This has some differences that make it different though, notably it chooses to focus more on the combat than the exploration or puzzles. There are lots of unique weapons and special moves to use, and (if you dont choose to abuse the healing items) it can be quite a challenge to learn and avoid all the bosses.

But the exploration and puzzles can be too easy and there's only a few that weren't completely obvious. Also the game is only around 10 hours (it took me less than 9) so that may or may not be worth the full price depending on what you want to see.

As you can probably tell by my profile picture, I am a fan of this franchise. This next bit is probably only for other fans who have followed these characters for a long time. A game like this was nothing more than an April fool's joke only a few years ago. To have a Love Live Sunshine game, where I get to play as all the characters, in English, it be Metroidvania AND it actually be fun is like a miracle. I couldn't believe it when it was announced and this game is more than I could have hoped for. As a game its not perfect but as a Love Live game it is. I hope they can expand into bigger and better titles.

Over 10 years old, but still an amazing time trial arcade racing game. Very simple controls, just uses arrow keys or a controller, making it easy to learn but hard to master. Loads of levels, with a good learning curve and a great feeling of progression. The game has various different environments, each having a distinct style and control scheme, and to top it all off there is a simple level builder where you can create a track in the environment you choose.

Overall, i'd say play Nations Forever first (as its free) and if you like it, this game has all the levels from that game and many more. Well worth it if its on sale, and since this is old, sales come around quite often

this is a really short one, only took about 3 hours to do all the story missions. the story itself is very predictable and none of the characters really stood out to me. Also a shame really that nothing we do here has any relation at all to any of the previous Borderlands characters, especially considering how well they were implemented in DLC 1 and 2. The core gameplay is still solid as always though, and new mechanics attempt to spice it up a little, but i would not recommend picking this up for full price.

This is a game to test your patience. It is fun if you put in the time and effort to improve yourself, but do not expect to beat the hard levels immidiately

After beating the game for the first time in a total time of 10 hours, I will be the first to say this game is NOT for everyone. Try it out for the first time but if you do not enjoy precise mouse movement or a game that will severly punish you for any slight mistake, then this game is not for you.
Apart from that I think this was a genius game by the genius Bennett Foddy and I look forward to seeing what he has next in store for us!

its quite good, but without both major DLCs the game isn't as good as the other Civ titles.
