The game does not respect your time with constant running around the same locales and maybe the worst side guests in any game.

DD2 is a great sequel with an interesting new upgrades to DD1 formula. Much is new but it still feel familiar.

- The puzzles were almost all just find a thing and put the thing in a generator, fuse box etc.
- Enemy placement was just weird. There were combine, rebels, zombies and antlions just tens of meters away from each other so it felt that they were just thrown there without logical reason to be there.
- Boss battle against antlion queen was really bad since the arena let you evade it too easily.
Overall a very mediocre mod.

Great game, but from a technical standpoint it's a mess. If you can tolerate stuttering and other issues that shouldn't be in a game released in 2022 buy it, otherwise wait for fixes.

Game itself is a bit dated, but the gripping story is more than enough to compensate this

Supergiant Games' games have always been very story rich and that's why I liked all of them. But a rogue like game surely can't have a good story right?

Nope I was wrong. The story unfolds nicely as you progress and keeps you interested through the many escape attempts. The basic gameplayloop is pretty simple but has easily kept my interest through the 50 hours I have played. Definitely the best game Supergiant has made to date.

More of the good stuff with a generous price

The game is a little bit repetitive but still mostly lots of fun. Most importantly it made me hungry.
