This game will continue to amaze you. Get a few mods, play with some buds. You will virtually never stop going, "woah, I've never seen that kind of build before", and just like that, you are amazed.... over and over again. This game is extraordinarily in depth, yet its mechanics are as simple as can be. It is the ultimate game that you will practically never get bored of. Feel like you have somehow experienced every possible build? Lol, just get a few new modded cards and your build possibilities have exponentially increased. Boredom removed.

Now, if only the developers would stop ignoring this actual diamond of a game.... the modding community carries it.

And yes, Stick Fight is garbage compared to this game.

I recently saw a youtube comment about this game that I believe represents this game very well:

"Halo Infinite's MP is a sweet juicy chocolate cake wrapped in a layer of fish skin that is the progression and monetization model. The cake itself is SO GOOD once you get past that smelly outer layer, but even if you're willing to completely ignore it, that occasional hint of fish finds it's way into the chocolatey goodness and reminds you how much better it could be."

So yea, I'm going to keep my negative review until that layer of fish skin is removed.

This game is just one of those games where you are like, "just a few more turns," or, "just 10 more minutes," and before you know it, it's 500 turns later and you have put away 8 hours of your life

At the surface you have a game where you can take hostages, rob banks, shoot cops, and make money to buy new stuff. This game is much much deeper than that though. Most of the missions are fairly straight forward to where just about anybody can complete them with a little brain power, provided you are playing on an easy difficulty. Now if you so choose, the difficulty curve is where the game becomes interesting. Suddenly the guns you use, the skills you choose, and playstyle you adopt becomes so much more relevant. Completing missions on higher difficulties requires good builds, and good teamwork. Stealth missions keep you on your toes, screwing up once could mean starting it all over. Loud missions require you to be coordinated and quick thinking, and any mistakes could get you killed in a fraction of a second. Suddenly this simple bank robbing game has opened up itself to a wide array of different strategies and viable ways to play. If you find yourself looking for a game that has depth where you will need to fundamentally understand all the mechanics in order to face the game's toughest challenges, then you have come to the right game. Not to mention this game is still being supported.

Despite many criticisms (that I agree with), this DLC is still very fun and still worth buying. I still wouldn't even think twice about buying it. If anything it feels relatively experimental with some of the new things they added, while underwhelming, it is not bad for a DLC.

However, as much as I still think this is worth buying, I will say that I believe they messed up story wise. Unfortunately the damage is done and the only fix is to retcon this entire DLC, but that realistically cannot happen. Honestly, if they didn't screw this part up, I do not think any of the other criticisms would have been such a big deal and I bet this wouldn't have even been review bombed. So what did they mess up in the story you ask? Well, it is the fact that in one DLC they killed off what was supposed to be the biggest and baddest and most powerful villain in all of doom with the highest stakes possible. There was barely any build up. It all was very quick and rushed, and so the "epic" climax to all of doom felt like a big wet floppy noodle. The "bleh" feeling of the climax of doom is just heavily compounded by all of the other things that were criticized such as lackluster enemies and questionable mechanics. It just feels as though they left off with a bad note on the whole slayer arc, which honestly sucks! They honestly just should have made one more doom game after this DLC. They should have used this DLC to build off of TAG 1, and build up to the next game where we get to build the villain of the dark lord and eventually fight him in the coolest boss battle of all time. Hugo in a stream even said that the boss fight in this DLC is mediocre because they did not have enough time to make it actually good. The gladiator boss fight apparently took like 2 years to get right. So again, why not save the epic boss fight climax for a whole new game where they can actually have the time to make a good boss fight. If they kept this DLC to being experimental without many major story implications and saved all the big story points for the next game, Doom could have left off on such a higher note than this.

Just a quick analogy I thought of to further back up my claim here. Take Halo CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3. These three games make up a story arc that is just purely fantastic. Halo CE sets up the premise on a smaller scale, similar to Doom 2016. Halo 2 expands the universe and raises the stakes, similar to Doom Eternal. Halo 3 is the grand finale where the stakes are the highest and things are the craziest where you annihilate the flood and defeat the covenant, and guess what, master chief is sealed away. In this DLC is the grand finale, the stakes are the highest, and you annihilate the demons and defeat the dark lord, and guess what, Doom slayer is sealed away. This DLC literally feels as though they attempted to fit all of Halo 3 into just three levels. Imagine if Bungie decided to fit all of Halo 3 into a three level DLC for Halo 2... yea, that would go over well.

Not sure how truthful other reviews are when they say they injured themselves, but I actually broke my finger playing this, and here is how. Firstly I don't have a ton of space, but it is enough to where if I stand still, then I won't actually hit anything with my hands. My desk is directly in front of me the whole time. The giant war hammer in this game is my personal favorite thing to use because of the power you can put behind it. I got really into it and I was full force hitting people as hard as I physically could with the hammer. One guy hit me (you have a few seconds to kill the person who hit you, or you die), and he was just out of my reach in front of me. I know I needed to kill him so I don't die, so I wind my arms way behind my head and I slam down that hammer with all of my might, but, without thinking I lunged forward slightly since he was out of my reach and my index finger made contact with the edge of my desk. I killed the guy, but my finger is swollen, purple, and slightly bending to the left.

Well choombas, I finished the main story line for this game. I have to say, the story and characters are absolutely awesome. The gameplay, however, is not. If you are only buying this game for gameplay and not for story, you will be hugely disappointed. Driving and stealth is horrible. Gunplay is not great. Honestly didn't experiment with hacking too much. Looter shooter mechanics are, in my opinion, a really bad thing in this game. Might appeal to you if you like destiny or borderlands, but i really dont think it belongs in cyberpunk. The looter shooter mechanics basically make all enemies bullet sponges, upgrades and things you buy are meaningless because 10 minutes later you will find something better to replace it, and you cant really dress the way you want because you will always need to equip clothing with the highest armor. Aside from that, the enemy AI is incredibly dumb and fairly easy to cheese a lot of the time, so the game even on the hardest difficulty (the difficulty i played on for the whole game) is not that hard at all. Aside from gameplay, I think I should point out that buying this game for "steamy content" and nudity is equivalent to incinerating $60. Dont be a gonk.

Now if you are buying this game for the story, characters, and dialogue, you will not regret buying cyberpunk. The story aspect of this game is VERY good, and oh boy does the story take you on a wild ride. Had me roped in for sure. You are always wondering where the story goes, and turns happen that you dont expect. The characters are amazing, especially Johnny Silverhand. You really do feel for the characters, and they feel like they have actual life. Interacting with the characters by talking with them during the story and picking what to say is the driving factor to why the characters have so much life, and you almost always feel like what you say matters. The dialogue itself is well written and well voice acted. I cannot give CD PROJEKT RED enough credit for crafting such a beautiful story and amazing characters.

Only played the singleplayer because I wanted to see how it was. Gameplay is as average as possible, but the characters and dialogue is phenomenal. The characters and dialogue makes the campaign easily worth a playthrough because at many points they will have you smiling. Lots of little things in the dialogue to pick up on too, such as a few times where they throw shade at COD MW2. This combined with some pretty interesting moments makes this single player I would say pretty decent.

There are two phases in a game of Ark:

- The beginning where everything is cool

- "maid simulator"
