Mediocre, cerca di essere Skyrim, No Man Sky e Elite Dangerous, ma non è al livello di nessuno dei giochi dai quali ha "preso ispirazione", il tutto corredato da una main quest decisamente banale.

From someone who is new to space sim games, Elite Dangerous is a good mix between a flight simulator and an exploration game, with an impressive realistic reconstruction of the milky way to explore. Some of the planets and solar systems landscapes are stunning and you can trade, explore, mine, join factions, hunt pirates or be a pirate. Piloting a spaceship it has a very good realistic feeling to it, you have to consider a lot of factors when landing or departing (expecially if you don't use auto-pilot), like the planet mass, atmosphere, speed of the ship, etc...
There is also a good rooster of ships and they are very, very customisable and the way you outfit them can radically change your experience. Some ships are also multi-crew and if you have one or more friends to play with, you can do it on the same ship. Or you can buy more separate ships and form a squadron.
For the downsides, i think due to the galaxy being so big (it really makes you feel how the galaxy in wich we live is really, really huge), player interaction is pretty scarce, and the only people i interacted with are the helpful Fuel Rats, wich you also probably encounter if you are not careful in your exploring. Also the pace of the game is generally very slow, but anytime can become very intense and you must be ready to respond to the various situations that can happen.
Overall i recommand it if you want a relaxed space experience, with some intense moments in its midst. Best if you get it on discount.
