Let me preface this with saying that this game is not bad. I was just disappointed.

It's important to understand that this game is designed clearly with Fortnite and low spec vr systems (quest, etc..) in mind. The visuals are decent at best, tolerable at worst, but where this game hit me the worst was the gameplay. If you are looking for VR game that has at least decent mechanics, then look elsewhere. It could be because I am spoiled from more refined gunplay from larger titles (H3VR, Half-Life Alyx to name a few) but I struggled to find satisfaction in using any weapon in this game. Some mechanics that made me upset are listed below:
-Just aiming a gun creates a crosshair on your screen, there is no need to use the sights that the gun has
-You cannot "throw" grenades. Similar to guns creating crosshairs on your screen, grenades create trajectories and the only option to throw them is to pull the trigger to send it to wherever the trajectory points
-Scopes are awful. You can't aim down the scope; as soon as you bring the gun close to your face, a scope crosshair overlay appears in place of what you saw earlier. I get that it's difficult to make a proper scope in VR with magnification and also make it easy to use, but the system this game uses is awful
-Reloading a gun is far too oversimplified to be interesting. The magazines appear under the gun when ammo is depleted, and you just have to shove the magazine in and chamber a round. From a practical gameplay view, this is totally valid, but it annoys me to no end. Also, you can't hk slap the mp5 :(
-Using index controllers, the in-game location of my hands seemed to have a significant offset. I asked around a bit and it turns out there was a setting for it, so I turn it off. Helps a bit, but there was still an offset for me. Not a huge problem, but it messed with my coordination

If any of these things don't bother you, then go ahead, buy and play the game. You will probably have fun with it. However, if you are coming from games with more refined gunplay, then be warned: you will be disappointed. If you can get past this, then you will probably also have a good time playing this game. But I couldn't.
