TL:DR - A must own for the Steam Deck that is ideally located at the nexus of casual and wit.

This is a great game that you can play basically whenever and not feel bad in the slightest about. It is simple and elegant with a gamification of poker that is unique. I find that the indie vibe meshes with the actual gameplay in a way which makes every run feel like you have a little secret you want to share.

TL:DR - A solid 7/10 | A good hack-n-slash shooter that'll hit something for those nostalgic about the original Gears of War.

Use what follows to guide your purchase if you're waiting for normal release.

Cons
- Unnecessarily difficult to navigate to alternate game modes
- Both campaigns take an accumulated 20 hours to beat
- Requires an internet connection

Pros
- Ready to go out of the gate with great visuals and gameplay
- Every part is capable of multiplayer
- Roadmap promises to keep game relevant for a while

All in all I found this game to be quite enjoyable and relatively worth the money as it is cheaper per hour than concert tickets and has more value than a Drake album. It has a solid, albeit predictable, plot which does a fairly good job weaving the "operations" campaign within. Unfortunately the "operations" campaign is more fun than the main campaign due to the fact that you have multiple classes to choose from, weapon perks to unlock, and goodies to look for which give incentive to multiple playthroughs. PvP is a bit clunky but is made unique with the multiple classes. A disposable income would make this a buy but the fiscally strained should pick up Baldur's Gate 3 for better value.

TL:DR - One of the most one-dimensional 4x games out there where the uniqueness is wrung out after one game.

It's a lovely looking game that only needs one play-through for you to begin realizing that other studios have made markedly better products (Stellaris for one). The only things that make it stand out are leader features that are obsolete mid-game and stylized videos of historical figures admonishing you which you can't turn off. The only reason I will keep playing this is to get the copious amount of achievements.

TL:DR - A great little beat-em-up that plays in a way that brings the old and new together well. A solid 8/10.

The playtime is a little short for the story if you're only going to play through it one time which means the cost may not be worth it. If you know that you'll probably play this with friends or family then it is likely worth every penny.

A frenetic and 1-dimensional game that is okay but not worth more than 2$. If you get 8 hours out of it you either have a problem or nothing else.

Is/was good but that whole Sony nonsense killed the vibe.

Now I play other things that are older and didn't f around.

TL: DR - 9/10 | A game that withstands time while having great story execution and reliable gameplay.

Over ten years since I played this on XBOX and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does it hold up. The DLC can make the pace a little too frenetic for those trying to play at a higher level. Yet the missions are dynamic enough that only if you're attempting to max things out do you start seeing the same stuff twice.

TL:DR - A pretty good game with a decent story that won't break the bank or require a new GPU.

I would largely say that this game is worth the time and money as the story supersedes what looks like a grind.

TL:DR - No choices of your own nor co-op to blunt it.

A middling game reborn with middling writers, poor controls, and corporate lies. Your city? No, it isn't. Your choices? As if. A game you can play with others? If you have a fetish for struggling. Good graphics, lacking story, poor networking, and generally bad overall.

Edit: They don't only turn the antagonist into a Wesker-esque character but they also have actively stopped giving a rat's ass about anything. Basically, a wizard did it at this point.
