If you liked Dirt Rally and/or Dirt Rally 2.0 then you will probably like this. It looks and feels a lot like those games, but it has modern WRC cars in addition to the usual stable of historic rally cars you would expect from the Dirt Rally series. It has somewhat improved graphics, but tbh DR2.0 doesn't really look terribly dated to me. It requires a processor with AVX, which Dirt Rally 2.0 didn't, so if you're delaying an upgrade you might as well stick with DR2.0. If you can run it and you're getting tired of running the same stages over and over in DR2.0 you might as well grab this because there are more stages and more cars to drive on them, and you aren't even going to lose most of the cars you are already familiar with and enjoying driving in DR2.0.

KartKraft is probably the best looking sim karting available right now - even on mid settings it looks better than Kart Racing Pro or rFactor2. AMS2 might look as good if not better, but IMO it doesn't have the most convincing kart feel. Unlike Kart Racing Pro, KartKraft has working AI to race against. Also unlike Kart Racing Pro, it doesn't have working multiplayer. Both KartKraft and Kart Racing Pro have better kart feel than AMS2 or rFactor2. Both of them also have a fairly limited selection of karts. Kart Racing Pro has a more detailed simulation in many ways, but this game's feedback feels a bit more believable than KRP in many ways, so it still feels worthy of being called a sim despite not simulating things like tire degradation and tire temperature-related grip changes.

If you are an obsessive sim racing weirdo and are looking for more karting content and don't mind it being a singleplayer-only experience (I am in this category) then I think this game is worth the $25(USD) they want for it. If you are *not* in this category then I think you are safe skipping this game.

If you are trying to decide between this and Kart Racing Pro, get this if you care about graphics and AI, get KRP if you care more about online multiplayer and tire simulation. KRP has dozens of free tracks made by the community, but many of those tracks are poorly made in ways that make them very unpleasant to drive. KRP has more track configs overall, but KartKraft has Atlanta Motorsports Park which is one of the coolest kart tracks in North America.

That said, rFactor 2 also has the AMP kart track and their kart sim is good enough so if you already have rFactor2 you should think about just getting the karts and some kart tracks for it (this game has somewhat better kart feel but rFactor's isn't terrible and it simulates things like tire temperature and deg).

Summary: I recommended this game because I enjoy it, but I'm an obsessive sim racing weirdo who loves karting. If that's not you then idk if you should waste your time with this game.

This is a good STALKER game. I have played them all and I like them all. If you liked the originals you'll like this one. They released a patch for the original games in 2023 so I have faith that all the things that need to be fixed will be fixed and all the things that don't get fixed are supposed to be like that.

this is a very silly game but it is exactly what it advertises itself to be. You are a cat. The ship's cat.

One thing that bothers me about this game is whenever I start it, it launches Steam VR, which makes the audio switch to my VR headset. I'm not tryna play this game in VR. It's annoying that this game does this.

It's a fun, fast-paced mid/low budget shooter set in the WH40K universe, but you pretty much never see a Space Marine. You get a lot of different weapons and abilities and you can sick a dog on people. The campaign isn't very long but it has side missions that are semi-randomly generated in the campaign maps. I recommend playing those between the campaign missions instead of waiting until after you've finished the campaign since it's a purely singleplayer game and there's not much reason to continue playing after the campaign ends, so the side mission content is better used to pad the story and farm loot.

People say it's janky and that's sorta true in a number of ways but it's also fun enough that the jank can be looked past. The only thing that really bothers me is the number of powers you get (too many to bind around movement keys). The fact that you only get one quick action slot makes it so you need to use the radial menu to access other more than one power, which breaks immersion and messes up the rhythm of combat.

If you like 40k and\or over-the-top fast paced sci-fi first person shooters this is a fun game despite its flaws.

a bilista full of automo. 2 of them even. i like this game or sim or whatever you want to call it (if ACC is a sim then this is a sim imo but idk YMMV)

ppl say the tire model rewards sliding too much but I think they were on a different patch or something because that's only true in certain cars under certain circumstances now.

doesn't quite *feel* as good as rFactor 2 but it won't give you eye cancer the way that game will and as much as I like ACC I think this feels a little bit better.

it does the "buy the game then buy all the content separately" thing that rF2 does but at least the base game comes with a little more in this case. rF2 has a thriving workshop with a ton of free content tho, and it's a little cheaper. still, eye cancer. if you're trying to make a decision between this and rF2 ask yourself if you care more about graphics or sim feel and let that guide your choice. if your answer is both you'll prbly still be happy with AMS2.

only bad thing I really have to say about this game is it doesn't have miatas. it's gonna need some miatas if I'm going to take it 100% seriously. Without miatas it's something like a 97.872% serious game. that's pathetic, it could be so much better. all it needs is miatas.

Very good karting sim. It does not have AI to race against and there are no plans to add them, but you can race online and run hotlaps in practice. It has VR support and works well with racing wheels so offers a pretty immersive kart driving experience. The UI is pretty simple and barebones but I didn't buy this game because I wanted to look at a pretty menu, I bought it because I wanted to drive a kart in my sim rig in VR, and it delivers exactly what I want in terms of that experience.

The track selection is decent, and it comes with something like 6 different kart classes to choose from. It has an active modding community that can be easily found on the official forums for the game with new tracks, engines, and paint jobs.

If you already own karting mods or addons for rFactor2 I'm not sure this offers much that can't be had there apart from some different tracks and kart classes (the feel is very similar and both work in VR) but that's enough to get and maintain my interest tbh.

If this doesn't sound interesting to you then honestly I'm not sure why you're even reading reviews for a karting sim. This product is exactly what it is advertised to be.
