I've owned and played both dirt 4, dirt rally 1, and Dirt Rally 2. I've put over 300 hours into this game, and I'll probably put hundreds more. I play it almost daily as a way to unwind from hours of FPS fast paced action.

At first, I was pissed about all the DLC tracks being from DR1, but the more I play the game, I have come to LOVE that fact.
Dirt rally 2 gives you a huge selection of cars and all the tracks from the first game, basically giving you the best of both worlds, a ton of cars and the tracks you already liked from the first game. People that are grouching about all the DLC being tracks from DR1, would you rather have NO DLC at all and not have the ability to drive the tracks from the first game with all the new cars and the updated graphics? They are just worried about some unknown "amazing" course they could have had instead of being grateful for the devs building upon the old content and adding new. Thats something I love to see in Video games, when devs bring forward favorite old content, I think people would have grouched if they DIDN'T let you play the old tracks in this new title. Moving on...

The driving between DR1 and DR2 has a slightly different feel, but both are amazing. Dirt Rally 1 has a more crisp feel to the driving, rewarding accuracy, and Dirt rally 2 has a solid feel, very authentic to the real life cars, but both are good, as I've said. Nothing beats the feeling of attack a corner in just the right way and getting back on the gas the instant you've crossed the apex of the turn, shaving off half-seconds and more from a course you've dialed in almost perfectly gives you an amazing feeling, and loading up a ghost off the leaderboard a few positions better than yours gives you an a clear goal to work towards achieving, and you can watch the ghost's run as you drive to see where they did better than you and import the same lines into your driving.

There is alot of depth and replayability here, after perfecting your run with one car, when you hop into another one the course has a whole new feel and a new challenge presented by each cars strengths and limitations, front wheel drive feels totally different than rear wheel and 4 wheel drive, some cars have a ton of punch from the turbo, etc. Its literally amazing how they were able to give all these different feels to each of the cars, and the feedback on the controller lets you know when your tires are slipping, when the suspension bottoms out, you can feel the engine revs in the controller vibration. (Im too poor for a wheel even though I spend hundreds of hours of my time in DR2)

If you are debating between getting the base game or the Game of the year edition, hands down get GOTY edition. You get all the dlcs, a huge starting collection of cars you would've had to earn in game currency to get from the garage, The Mcrae DLC that loosely follows his career, its very much worth it especially when the game goes on sale.
As of writing on black friday, the game was 75% off, $11.30 for the GOTY.
I hope this helps someone in the future decide if they want the game or not.

Also, I write all this as someone who was NEVER really a race fan, I got DR1 on a humble bundle by chance and tried it cause I was bored, and now I'm absolutely hooked and watch rally videos on youtube and cant stop thinking about the perfect hairpin turn! Rally is one of the best kinds of racing because its more about chasing self improvement, rather than competing and comparing yourself against others.

IronSight is one of the best free military FPS games on the market. The feel of the guns is amazing and they are satisfying to shoot and get scorestreaks with. This is very much a COD-like game, BUT, it has its own personality. Its slightly futuristic, wth the game set in 2025 with things like drones and stuff for score streaks. The "free" status of the game is very fair to people that don't spend money on the game, it has a model much like Apex Legends where you can spend money on skins and costumes but absolutely nothing that would give you an advantage in game.

I can't reccomend this game enough. Highly optimized, it will run on the oldest integrated graphics toaster you can find. Who needs DLC when mod support is built into the game, all you need is discord and an account on a mod download site, and you have access to THOUSANDS of custom zombies maps, community remastered maps, This game easily outclasses many of the COD's that came after it.

I run this game on:

Core 2 quad q9550 OC'd to 2.9
MSI garbage motherboard with minimal to none overclocking support (only gained .3 GHz, poor bios and VRMs are the issue)
4 GB 800mhz DDR2 running in dual channel.
120gb SSD and 1 terabyte HDD
AMD HD 5770 or GTX 750 SC (non ti) (switch between both depending on which games favor amd or nvidia)

other than the fact that is this obviously not going to compare graphically to something released in 2018, I can't hardly find any cons about this game, I would purchase again, even for full price off sale. best to pick it up on sale, but I would gladly give my money again to show that gamers want games that give US the control, we get mods and server support and screw the DLC/games as a service that eventually DIES model. I'd rather have a game like this that I can mod daily and play new maps, new zombie challenges. While many map makers have moved to BO3, custom multiplayer and zombies maps are STILL being made, a DECADE after this game released. That, in my opinion, is a amazing.
Similar to starwars battlefront 2 ( THE REAL VERSION) this game has a vibrant and vocal community that just keeps chugging along.

Hope my review helps someone, anyone.
Highly reccomend this to budget pc gamers or people who missed the chance to play it on release and wanna catch up, I qualify for both of those situations haha :D

Good Game.. Lot of people complaining of Optimization issues but I've never had Any problem.
I'm running the game on a core i3 4170 + Gtx 970 with 8 gig of RAM.
Multiplayer is alright, TONS OF auto-shotgun spam, and to me, The Sniper Rifles seem WAY OP.
New Zombies is Great, takes a while to get used to, theres so much more to do than on Black Ops 1 or 2.
Don't really like the new Margwa creature, doesn't really seem like it belongs in a zombie game.
Best part about the new zombies is being able to level up your weapons and your character,
adding customization like recticles and all the weapon attachments you see in multiplayer are now in zombies.
All in all, a decent game, I would have rather payed 40 dollars instead of 60 though...
I would definately pick this game up if you see it on sale though.
