They delivered and the Kingdom finally Came.

Difficult mixed review. The game is BEAUTIFUL. I enjoy the plot and the writing, even if it starts a little stilted ("the city rejoices at your return, by vectron!"), and can be a bit hamfisted when dealing with social issues (wow, slavery is bad, who knew!). But the combat is simple and quickly becomes too much of a chore to continue.

still my favourite of the series

Its a great game that I used to really enjoy, but sadly it's aged poorly from a technical point of view - no matter what I do, on a modern PC it runs at 30 FPS and janky

I just wanted to play Ludwig II (Germany) but even with a literal computer science degree couldn't figure out the convoluted DLC dependency maze so ended up paying +£28 for the anthology upgrade but im not best pleased

AI generated art miffs me off a bit, it doesn't really need it

matchmaking takes forever, and very unintuitive / poorly explained.

its payday except the bot team mates can actually carry bags

edit: also rouge-like campaign is super fun i just wish i could play as the other crime bosses too

Flawed but has spirit

Really grew on me. Far less micromanagement, and better diplomacy, than Civ, but scratches that Civ itch. Nice relaxing music too.
