Definitely worth playing at least once, but I don't think I'll be replaying it again.

Entropy: Zero is basically the Opposing Force of Half-Life 2, and despite being a community mod, it feels as if it's part of the actual franchise.
My favourite part of this mod is that the main character has a cool and humorous personality of their own, although there rarely are any dialogues between NPCs and the player that show it.
The story could have been more than interesting, but there isn't any main goal established other than trying to escape one predicament after another that you find yourself in, and some parts don't make any sense (why would the rebels even leave you alive after you massacred literally everybody in their base?).
Oftentimes the chapters get really stale and boredom blows in your face, but the worst are the poorly thought out and annoying puzzles thrown at you; I had to open up a walkthrough to find out I had to release a manhack into a vent because the devs haven't left any clues.

Take notes developers, this is how a REMASTERED game looks like.

Absolutely stunning visuals and SFX that can run even on decent computers. Black Mesa remains faithful to the original game but it also does a great job of expanding and making stories of its own. Despite being considerably longer than the classic game, it rarely gets boring and the puzzles are not too difficult (though I almost had to check a walk-through to solve some).
You truly feel like a badass when you beat the heck out of HECU on your way to save the world from Xen.
But when you finally arrive in Xen, it feels like another game entirely. The environment is straight out of this world and lulls you into a false sense of security which eventually turns into a desperate fight for your life.

But it has its own share of problems.
I just wish they haven't made Gonarch's Lair and Interloper so TEDIOUSLY LONG and full of filler obstacles. The conveyor belt section was drawn out and got boring REALLY quickly. Especially Gonarch's chase felt too long and extremely pointless as you just easily destroy it with the rocket launcher in the end.

Early Access Review
The atmosphere is just perfect, exactly what'd you expect if you travelled kilometers deep under the surface of an alien planet, whose inhabitants can rip your seacraft to shreds if you're not careful.
Can't say much about the mechanics of the game though, definitely really interesting and unique, but didn't play long enough to have a good opinion on those.

If you're going to buy this game right now, make sure your PC can handle it.
I bought it assuming it would run smoothly as there isn't much going on on the screen most of the time, but yeah it turns out it's really quite demanding, and runs much worse than my much larger and more visually intense games.

If you're planning to buy this game but are discouraged by how many complains about the port there are, don't worry.
It's really easy to fix these bugs and everything you need to know is in the game community guides.
Installed the patches before playing and I've never had any issues thereafter.

I hope you love the scenery and atmosphere! Because if you're not planning to engage with the multiplayer side of SWTOR, a whooping 85% of your playtime will consist ONLY of travelling from A to B back to A and then C, bandit beating, right clicking those mission objectives, all to just get that one filler quest done and over with.

Yeah, I don't play MMO games, grindfests and raids aren't my thing; only now I jumped into this game because I love the Knights of the Old Republic games, and I read so many praises about how EPIC the stories are and how RICH the lore is, so I decided I should really give it a go and see for myself!

But damn, I SERIOUSLY underestimated just how much the rest of the game would drag my interest down to the ground.
Not a subscriber? Get a movie on or something before playing, because without quick travel you'll be travelling on a speeder or your scooter in circles around the map to get to that area with a disguise you'll need to sneak through another area whose goons can't even make anything more than a dent in your health bar. The combat is just pushing keybinds waiting for a frickin smuggler with virtually no armour to drop from 20 power blasts to the face at point blank range.

I have to say though, SWTOR would've been an absolute banger for me if it wasn't for the dry, outdated and badly thought out gameplay mechanics. Their music is among my favourites and the class stories are entertaining (make no mistake, just the cutscenes, boss fights are lame and broken too), but yeah it's just not enough to keep me in long enough before I struggle to get a hour or two in a week.

Are you looking to perform crazy experiments on people? Or just act out a cops 'n' robbers shootout in the middle of a city, or maybe, you want to go all out and create a map-spanning full blown WARZONE? This is the game to do just that.

Complete bloody creative freedom. This is the perfect game to boot up when you get back home and just want to unleash your mind in a virtual sandbox where anything violent is possible.
This game has a massive workshop with tons of mods where you can find anything you need to get started on recreating trench warfare of World War I, and claim utter victory in your puppet theatre.
Build the Colosseum and pit your dolls against each other in a survival of the fittest. Create a heavily-defended nuclear facility and control a human killing-machine as you shoot your way through meat bags, or fight for your life as a squad of soldiers instead.

Trust me, if any of that sounds like your kind of thing, buy this game.

PAYDAY 2 really is absolutely amazing and does not get boring at all if you've got a group to play with, or even if you play with strangers on the internet! Loads of content, heists, weapons, modifications and an over-abundance of achievements to get you hooked for hours on end..

Oh OH WAIT, you didn't buy the ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY TWO paid DLCS for ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY SIX POUNDS?? Well SUCKS. FOR. YOU! You get nada bro, nothing but crap. Most of the game is entirely BLOCKED for you if you don't have friends with inflated wallets ready to host lobbies for you.

seriously, invest in another game, you will not regret it.
