one of the very few games that made me cry about it

Even though I had the underlying feeling that I would 100% enjoy this DLC to it's fullest extent, when looking in depth in Forsaken, it doesn't really offer anything new to the table, as of current. (And it mostly my fault for not checking the DLC in depth.) Explained in short, most of the aspects of Forsaken were either removed long long ago, (Due to feedback because of the community) or features that have previously been in Forsaken have now been implemented in the current F2P model. Or all Forsaken has to offer at the moment is the campaign (which took less than 3-4 hours at max), the 'Last Wish Raid', the Super Subclasses, and the various exotics they included with the DLC. Regarding the campaign of Forsaken, some may find it is mediocre, but some may find it great. (Or 8 - 9 boss battles leading up to a final boss) somewhat feeling repetitive and hollow. again with it taking less than 4 hours, which is way shorter of a time I would spend around $26.55 for. Similarly with the side quests in the area known as the 'Dreaming City'. Though daily bounties and quests can also somewhat being a selling point as well. Overall, I would say Forsaken isn't that great of a DLC, and you would most likely get it for the exotics, supers, or raid. Getting Beyond light may seem more of a better move with more of it's content being in the works.

TL;DR, Even though there is less content shown in Forsaken because of user feedback, and there being a reason to that, the campaign can / can not be fun to different people, with it taking around 3 - 4 hours to complete. Though you would probably like it more depending if you looked into the Destiny lore a lot. Buy for exotics, supers, and raid, campaign is subjective depending on who you are, BUY ON SALE IF YOU CAN.
