Fine-tuned the game to what the community asked for. Game Balanced done right.

Firewatch is one of those game that, the more experiences you had in life, the more it will resonate with you and leave you in your thoughts for a time to come. Its a narrative game done in perfect execution.

If you like Dear Esther, you will most likely love this game as well.

TL;DR: Firewatch is a country park hiking simulation "game" with a brilliantly weaved story that worth every penny you spent on it.

Atmosphere: 9/10

Gameplay: 6/10 (most of the 'puzzles' you can figure out instantly)

Update 4: River of Blood is finally L4D maps worthy. Did the dev switched the level design them and the creative lead? Whatever happened, Act 6 is a very enjoyable experience.

Update 3: Dec patch is the right direction, and it shows in the number of players coming back to play it. Game balancing still have some room for improvements, but the game is much more enjoyable now in Vet difficulty. The only thing is there were some bugs and crashes introduced with this update as well, sadly. The event thing is kinda good, but I expected something more like playable event campaign or at least a mission/map. Overall it got great potential now again...if only Tencent will leave it alone....that is

Update 2: The dev said they listen to the community, and they did. They patch the game exactly OPPOSITE of what the community want. Newest patch is making the game even harder than before, and they are trying to make it that you must have a full team to play finish the game. If you only have 1 friend to play with you, this game will disappoint and frustrate you to no end.

Update: There are 3 difficulty level in this game: Easy, Insane, and Impossible. Easy you CAN* get thru the game with 1 friend and 2 super dumb AI bots who won't rescue you while you were being incap. Insane you probably need a very dedicated team with characters complimenting each other to get thru it. Impossible are for people who got too much time at their hands and are generally immune to the feeling of defeat, and never bored to try again.

If you think this is just L4D then you are in for a wild ride. TL;DR version: L4D with RPG elements

Help others help yourself.

This 'game' is more like a very supportive online community where you can ask anyone anything and get answers. It will get emotional at times, especially when you are seeking help, the community is there for you.

I cannot recommend this 'game' any more than I can. Buy it, and buy it for your friends who need some support too.

Got it during summer sales, in terms of gameplay, it's kinda like some old school kewl games, you probably won't find it addictive or anything, but it is okay in terms of fun trying to figure out what to do next to progress. To my surprise this game got quite a bit of contents in it, not just bunch of pre-rendered stills or video.

The story kinda not make sense but it is not as ridiculous as most porn movies, as in some are believable, actually.

Overall really satisfied with the purchase for it's worth, and recommend it for ppl who are like..."oh crap too much games what should I play....ah screw it i will just be man of the house"

So after 30+ hours into Valheim, still recommending it? Hell yeah!

If you enjoy old school MUD or MMO like Ultima Online, WOW, Minecraft, then you will grow to love this game, even in it's early access state.

The game price tag should be 5 times as much and still worth every penny.

Bottom line:
Is Valheim perfect? Far from it. However, the game is quite addictive if you are into world building RPG game set in a fantasy world. The game truly shines when you have a small group of friends play together.

TLDR: Game is comparable to Ultima Online without monthly fee. This game has no place in selling at this price even without discount, it is well worth every penny and then some.

Steep learning curve...by that I mean the game mechanics are not that hard to learn, but to play it well is another story. Game itself is pretty good for a board game, a bit educational too if one is interested in birding or bird watching.

PRO: Fun and relaxing to play
CON: Majority of the birds are from North America only, localization of bird names are not accurate or incomplete, for example many birds have different names even in one language, take Traditional Chinese for example, Taiwan and Hong Kong naming are different and the game go ahead and choose neither and come up with something else.

Its as fun as you can imagine. This is a sandbox, with creativity and dedication, one can make the best sand castle in the world.

Or it can be as boring as a pile of dirt.

Bottom line: If you enjoy hand holding game play, then this is not the game for you. For all simulation games lover, this is definitely not the best sim ever created, and it lacks too many features to make it really shine. However, at the time of this review, the game is free. So I recommend it, if anything, 30000 penguins picking a fight with Thanos is always fun to watch.

Been playing for a long while but then again away for a long while...launched the game to find that now we need epic sign in ... wtf

This is the best hack and slash ARPG since Diablo 2 LOD. It took the best from Diablo 2/Titan Quest to become this masterpiece. True that there are great ARPG out there since Diablo 2, such as Path of Exile, Titan Qust, Torchlight.... but so far Grim Dawn is still my favorite at the time of writing.

PRO:
-Addictive
-Fun Game Play Mechanic
-Value
-Writings (Lore)

CON:
-Level designed to trick the player into back tracking, A LOT.
-Farming can be repetitive.
-Main Story line is weak and poorly integrated into the campaign. (Player needs to read lore to enjoy the story)
-Not much hand holding (Can be view as a PRO though, for me at least)
-Old School Inventory System (This actually is a PRO for me also)
-Tutorial can be lacking for some players


Bottom line: If you are disappointed in Diablo 3, then buy Grim Dawn with all DLC and thank me later.
