Notes:
The game looks amazing and is quite fun with friends.
So that is great!
My complaints would be that it's quite short and can be beat in just 1 hour.
The levels are quite easy and you don't have to learn any strategy.
I would like for purgatory difficulty to also make monsters more hostile and frequent.
So that Normal mode is a learning experience and purgatory is where you master and get some hours in.

Originally I gave this a thumbs down but my hours tell me to change that.
I really love to just jump in from time to time and drive around. I normally
never play car games but this game is really fun.
The turbo system is amazing and the feel is great.
The art style is what-ever.
My complaints are that the races are repeated a lot towards the end and feels dull.
Also sometime the game thinks your in a "awkward position" and resets you even if you
are prefectly able to fix it yourself or even when you just drive normally.

My Honest opinion is that the game is playable 95% of the time with 80 GB of mods...
Anyone that works at Bethesda should resign...
Almost everything with the game is either subpar even for the time it came out or broken.
The 9% of Bethesda that does real work is the Environment Design People, the
game is good at selling the whole "apocalypse" vibe.
However
- The actually modellers have left a massive amount of mistakes like seeing thru a seem in the model...
- The Gameplay designers thinks giving your the strongest armor (Power Armor) and letting you kill the biggest monster in the game within the first 20 minutes is good progression...
- The Programmers does not seem to be able to communicate with other people, especially their colleges.
- The People responsible for shipping the game left debug code and references in the game with debugging disabled, this basically means that if the game crashes at a random point it probly becuase the game tried to use a entity that is not in the shipped game :/
- The survival mode (Which makes the whole settlement system actually mean something) disables saves and only lets you save in your base, so have fun when you have been out doing quests and looting for 3 hours only to have the game crash in a loading screen.

I want to play and even love the game, but i pains me so much.
The whole 76 game they made seems like a ton of fun. But seeing everything Bethesda did makes pushes me to the brink of violence. That game is also far from playable, the guys that still keep that game are the real heros on the devils leech.
The multiple lawsuits against the company is crazy!
- The Deluxe bag they cheaped out of and said "♥♥♥♥ off"
- Disabling refunds
- accidentally leaking everyone that bought the deluxe bag's address and credit card info
It's insane... Search these things up it's real...

I just hope that now with microsoft in the lead they atleast gets stripped of everything and ruined. Let the copyright free for modders to make games.

If you are ready to buy the C++ api, which normally free but whatever.
You should look into making your own engine or editing the source of Godot or Unreal.

If you want the simple answer, then No.
You will not make a real game with this.
You can, but you wont.

How the engine works and what it is has always been a mystery to me.
I used it for a month back when i started out buying and downloading
a bunch of engines to test. This one looked good when i was younger,
it reminded me of source engine but it could be my own game. Nothing about
it expect the hammer-ish editor is like source. I don't mean to be rude to the
lone guy making it. But it seems like a very complex hobby project. I think
maybe this would have been a more used engine if it was free or open source.
But you got to make money somehow, and i think the guy was think more about
that rather then the engine's future. As it is now, and will continue to be:
This product is like building a pool in the backyard of a unfinished house...
I like it, but i would never live in it.
