One of the coziest games I have ever played. The building tools are super intuitive and the way the game interprets your desires works great.

I think this might be one of the best games ever made. Future RPGs will need to up their game. Bioware walked so Larian could run!

While not the genre altering heavy hitter that was once promised, it is a very solid RPG that comes close to being a unified whole, but just misses the mark. Still very worth your time, especially with patches that have ironed out the historic poor performance issues on launch. Good abundance of side content, brilliant performances and some great set pieces are the stand outs for me, although I'd have preferred if more of the side stories tied better into the main arc outside of their themes about sense of self.

The world never truly feels as alive as it should and I think that's because you rarely see the impact of your actions in the wider world. The news stories are nice that tag along with the main quest (noticeably shorter than Witcher 3) but you never truly leave your mark on Night City. Although, maybe that's the point?

The game comes close with so many things. The RPG systems are there, but there's far too many passives and the interesting stuff is too late game. Not all builds work quite well and hacking feels about as useful as it did in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which is to say, situational but not properly build-aroundable. The main story has an interesting premise and takes time to fully start, but by the time you're invested it hits you with the point of no return text box.

It feels significantly shorter than the highs and lows of the Witcher 3 and doesn't have as many stand out moments. Your mileage will indeed vary, especially if you neglect side-content. Choices matter to a degree - this is an RPG after all. I felt like some of my choices had consequences, while others that I would have expected to either didn't or had changes which didn't seem substantial enough. I'd say some of the side quests had better stand out moments than the main story, and it does feel in places like quests were moved out of the main arc and put by themselves, though I am not sure why.

I'd have loved to explore more of Night City and its people. I love characters in RPGs and while Cyberpunk 2077 absolutely has them, it's missing a wider breadth of interesting and unique characters that the player can interact with in more meaningful ways.

Gunplay is really good, certainly better than Witcher 3's combat system - I used revolvers and pistols for most of the game and a certain weapon you get near late game is extremely satisfying to use. I did some melee too with mantis blades and that was satisfying if a little janky at times. No game, I won't stealth even if you really want me to - that's not my build.

Vehicles feel kinda strange? The motorcycles actually feel amazing and extremely responsive, they're all I ended up using once I bought the Akira one. Cars in general feel a bit too sluggish when it comes to handling, but even in the race missions it's not too bad and the car you can use in it seems to work well enough. Just keep focused and try to slow your corners.

Really, the game is a solid 7/10. 8 or even 9 in some areas, 6 in others. It's sad the development was such a crunch nightmare for the team and it does show in the final product. I get a sense that a fair amount of content may have been cut, Fallout: New Vegas style. I hope that the upcoming DLC will be made with no crunch and with the time and care developers always want to put into their games.

I'm glad the next games to come from the team will be in Unreal Engine 5. You're often reminded that this is the engine from Witcher 3, from UI elements to pop in and jank. They did a good job really, it still feels better than Fallout 4 does in the gamebyro engine, but it's another aspect that just prevents the game from truly reaching the heights of the original intention.

It's sad that after the DLC there probably won't be another Cyberpunk game from the team. Especially with a trilogy of new Witcher games having just been announced. The world that takes it all and spits you out has so much potential for more stories about the human condition - real good sci-fi bread and butter. Deeper explorations of corpo warfare, or gang life or just how the average person survives. I'd love another reason to visit a more fleshed out Night City. Here's hoping.

Game is legit broken due to most games not letting anyone die. The majority of multiplayer games have this bug, it is completely unplayable at the moment.

Halo's greatest hits and it's all freeee. Just try not to get attached to cosmetics since that aspect of the game is bad.

Preface by saying there are some port issues - largely improved since release apparently - such as texture popping, FPS hitches and shader loading taking a while on game start. However, the issues aren't enough to detract from the game, which is an incredible experience.

The studio's newest IP since Killzone and it shows. Years of care went into making this new story with its tribes, mysteries and killer robot dinosaurs. Made me want to play the sequel so bad it makes getting a PS5 a tempting prospect when Forbidden West is released in early 2022.

The ranged combat is excellent, taking the concept of 'hit the giant enemy crab weak spot for massive damage' to the extreme. Weapon type, damage type and hit location all make a difference when fighting. Only downside is that you can only equip 4 of the games weapons at once.

This is the complete edition so comes with the pretty good single DLC. Set in an adjacent area it feels quite natural to move into and even has some impact on the main story's dialogue and mysteries revealed. It's a step up in difficulty that could get frustrating if you don't use your enemies' weaknesses against them. But live and learn and you'll improve.

Really Horizon Zero Dawn is probably the best open-world game I've played in a while - which is saying something when this originally came out on PS4 in 2017. Sony are really pushing this new IP as a platform seller for them and it's quite worthy of the task.

I completed 75% of the game on Normal in around 45 hours - including 75% of the DLC. New Game+ is a tempting idea so I might come back to it before the sequel is released.

The world feels alive and well sized, unlike some other more recent video games. Side quests have some heart to them and the art direction is stunning. All building a world which I am looking forward to seeing more of.

Only been playing Mass Effect 1 so far. It looks amazing compared to the OG PC port from Demiurge back in 2007. It's silky smooth, textures are sharp and clear. The Mako has been improved and feels a bit more like the Nomad from ME:A instead of the OG Mako. The improved combat is sooo much better, Being able to hit headshots really helps the pistol feel more powerful in the early game. Combat is more fluid - it's not at ME2 standards but it feels like ME1's combat cleaned up and tightened.

Enjoying taking the time to savour the game - it's never looked better and the high framerate really is fantastic. The new photo feature goes great with Steam screenshots!

Cons are that even the Steam version needs to use Origin. It's not much of an extra thing to worry about especially if you use Origin already for games, but it's important to be aware of. There's some minor audio especially in Citadel loading screens that hasn't been cleaned up unlike some of the other audio in the game.

This is going to be the definitive way to play Mass Effect now and that's pretty hype.
