$10 game, beat it in an hour. Would have been less if I didn't look in every nook and cranny.

Became super annoyed at the narrative on multiple occasions, main character came off as pouty and self absorbed. Narrative literally went from "The warmth of our love" to "HE OWES ME EVERYTHING" within minutes, almost seconds. Could not become attached or even empathetic. Mixture of annoyance and irritation caused me not to be very frightened or react properly to jump scares.

Graphical glitches, especially through the mirrors, were distracting. Detested when the game took away the controls from me when not warranted.

Only use the right click shout hint mechanic ONCE, when I was trying to turn the flashlight on.This game is extremely linear I don't know why a player have a need to use it.

Instead of screaming or gasping from fright, I laughed... twice. First time in the scene when your rollercoaster hit the kid in a comical manner. The second when the antagonist blocked an exit with his body and yelled "GO BACK THE OTHER WAY". You could make him repeat this forever by just constantly ramming into him.

The second to last game plot would have been ground breaking if I didn't already experience it in P.T.

And to finish it off with an ending I was able to see from a mile away.

This was a Gone Home clone with some jump scares. Color me unimpressed.

Pick this game up if you really want to play it in a humble bundle or when it's eventually $1.
Or pick it up at full price, you're an adult who can make their own choices. Maybe you'll like an overly whiny and overbearing script with recycled horror material.
