low everything, no FSR or w/e. I like 4xMSAA but CS2 is too slow on my hardware for that :(

MSAA improves visibility through complex areas and can help the "boost player contrast" feature
keep in mind that shadow quality and MSAA hit GPU performance pretty hard, test for balance!

Arch is a rolling release so updates are quick and there are no major upgrades to worry about.
it usually gets better perf than Ubuntu and up to 50% faster than Windows in CSGO.
with a few addons (AUR, pamac, corectrl etc) I actually like this OS. usually.

**Salient has not had a new release recently so installing now might be a pain.
Garuda Linux looks promising for a proper Arch install with some tweaks included.
Ubuntu tends to be the safer, less involved option with Nvidia GPUs. proprietary drivers...
