Early Access Review
Start from nothing, and suffer your way through a series of mishaps, including but not limited to, geting captured and sold as a slave, get branded a heretic by the holy nations and put in jail, loosing your leg to some beak things and the icing on the cake : Crawl your way through acid rain all to way to the prostethics vendor and then coming back up stronger, and take your revenge.

Best game i've ever played.

Overall the game is good, i feel like it can be an amazing game after a few patches and the addition of some mods, but as it stands it is just good, i'll list the reasons why below;

- The game feels a lot more linear, and artificial, getting rid of the old globe mechanic was not a good decision, i understand making bases and intercepting UFO's do not fit in Xcom 2 but it could have been adapted to the new needs. The new "zones" feel a bit artificial especially when you have to unlock one to go to another...yeah, its not like i have a flying base that can go anywhere.

- Unecessary amount of timed missions, so far, most of the new difficulty "upgrade" that was claimed by Xcom 2 comes from almost every mission being timed, to a point where it is unreasonable and plain illogical (ie.: I have a certain amount of time to hack a data hub, even if the enemy has no clue i am even there, the time should be triggered by detection.), it makes me think that the aliens are super paranoid with some crazy-timed-self-destructing tech, and not that they conquered earth.

- This next complaint comes straight form the Xcom EU/EW games,...why are the aliens still getting a free turn when they get spotted (or spot someone)? It is just a cheap way to give the AI some help. Thankfully i am sure modders will fix this.

- Rush, this is more on the personal side than on the technical side, the game feels very rushed, timers on missions, cheap plot accelerating mechanics, some illogical progression jumps on the plot (ie.: The aliens do not even know if the new Xcom is a true threath yet risk all the mascarading that took them years to build up, just to go all out guns blazing on 30 something humans with a crazy plan?), i feel like this new setting took away some of the old Xcom vibes, wich is good on a innovation standpoint and bad on franchise-player relation.

- And lastly and the least important factor here, visual bugs, sume stutter in cutscenes and action cameras, some texture popping here and there, nothing too serious that some patches wont fix, but still there.

- PS.1: Poison spit and AI meele going through walls.

Still, good game with a bright future ahead, especially with the new modding support.
