I am genuinely not sure if I have regretted a purchase more than this. And I own a copy of Twilight.

While the game generally stays true to the gritty atmosphere of WoD, I'm not entirely sure what the writers were smoking when they composed the story and dialogue. It was either, at best, a laughable attempt to create witty, intellectual and dry humor into a decent structure resembling a plot, or at worst, one of the most cringe-worthy, confusing sets of dialogue I have ever seen in a story. I only played the Vampire segment, but that was enough to ward me off from the entire package; I have no idea how any of the developers didn't take a look at the written portions of the plot and didn't think, 'hm, you know, maybe this... sucks.' This reads almost entirely like bad fan-fiction, and that's what I'm choosing to believe it ultimately is, because the horror of this actually being a World of Darkness-associated title is too much to bear.

And from a gameplay aspect, well, it's just as lacking. The game allows you the illusion of choice, but not following the strict guidelines of a predecided fate will steer you swiftly toward your death anyway, so it doesn't really matter what you choose -- unless, of course, it's in line with what the game wants you to pick!

I'm genuinely not sure whether to be embarrassed for White Wolf for having this title associated their name -- and what's more, the ingenuity involved in World of Darkness and Vampire -- or disappointed that the company saw the final product and deemed it fit for release.

Witcher 3 is, hands down, my most favorite game of all time. The story is phenomenal, the characters (except you Ciri, ♥♥♥♥ you) are fantastic, the world is BREATHTAKINGLY stunning, and everything you do feels important. I admit to not being nearly as faithful to Witcher 1 and 2 - primarily due to the immense turn off the controls were - but Witcher 3 accomplished every goal that I believe a wildly (no pun intended) successful RPG should have. My only regret is that this is the last game of this series, yet I still hold out hope that the developers will take a long look at how amazing this game was and continue the legendary franchise to bring us back to the world and all it has to offer. Buy this game. You will never, ever regret it.

I don't think that any review I write will ever do this game justice. I did not expect much out of Life is Strange. I began the game thinking it would be little more than high school drama overpacked with cliches, but the concept seemed interesting enough to be worth trying.

I have never been more pleased to be wrong.

The game's story rose to incredible heights that I never expected it to rise to. The more the mystery unraveled, the more hooked I became. I was on the edge of my seat by the end of Episode 2, and it just got better and better from there. The story had several twists I never would've expected, was emotionally gripping and heartwrenching, and it felt like the choices made actually mattered.

The only drawbacks that I felt toward the game were related to the endings, as I felt one obviously had more depth than the other. Additionally, it felt that some subplots to the story were touched on yet not detailed later, so I wish we had been given more information regarding certain characters in the story to add more substance.

All in all, however, Life is Strange is a brilliant game that I unexpectedly enjoyed to an immense degree. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a mysterious, interesting story complete with a rollercoaster of emotions, fun characters, and impactful choices.

Truly an amazing start to the sequel of the emotionally gripping story in Season one. I am eager to see where the game continues to go with Clementine at the helm, as well as what difficult choices you will be forced to make as she continues through the zombie-ridden horror ride. Telltale Games outdid themselves with The Walking Dead and I cannot wait to play more.
