I will give the game a recommendation, but I have to say it is more of a "meh". The gameplay and maps are fun and the graphics are pretty good and it runs well. The rogue abilities seem a bit lazy at times. The game just isn't as popular as CS GO or Overwatch, so it's harder to find matches.

Too repetitive. You fight wave after wave of the same enemy, while the combat mechanics are simply not interesting enough to make it fun. The DLCs seem incredibly lazy and overpriced to me, which wouldn't be too much of a problem if this wasn't the kind of game where DLCs are pretty much necessary.

Not great not terrible

Not quite Elden Ring, but impressively close for a souls-like. Enjoying it immensely after 10 hours, especially the smoother co-op. No performance issues on a strong PC, but a heads-up: disable RTX for lower-end GPUs, it's not labeled as "RTX" in settings. Its easier than most of the fromsoftware souls games especially in coop you can "first try" many of the bosses.

Sadly super buggy and crashes all the time

AMD users, beware: Ray Tracing may tank your game's performance. On a 7900 XTX (top AMD GPU), DX11 runs fine but lacks advanced features like ray tracing. DX12 defaults to FSR2, causing crashes—switch to TAUU. Ray tracing poorly implemented, halves FPS. Game's quality is well-known, so I'll skip that.

I don't think I have to add anything that others haven't already said better

After 50 hours into Elex 2, I find it superior to Elex 1, addressing many previous annoyances. Improvements include better graphics, cleaner UI, map markers, upgraded jetpacks, and smoother combat, though it's now too easy. Drawbacks are a repetitive story, costly crafting recipes, misaligned perk requirements, and impactful bugs. 100 hours in, the final chapters decline in quality with dull storytelling and tedious fights against Skyands, lacking strategy in combat.
