A game that will make you suffer.... because in this game AI logic and its mechanics will slowly take away your will to live. Hoi4 is a good game and I spend a lot of time playing it. But there are many things that should be added or improved in Vanilla. For example: The research tree is very poor, Many interesting countries don't have national focus... Or if they do have national focus, they're just boring and small... Countries with boring national goals are, for example, Czechoslovakia, Hungary (Hasburgs are kinda cool but still...) Spain, Baltic states and one of the most important Major USA. Some people will say that this country has a cool focus tree, others will say that there are worse focus trees... that's true. In hoi4, the thing that hurts me the most is that there are no updates... And when something new is added, it's in the form of DLC that costs around $20 (I'm not really sure. And in those DlCs that cost a bit though there are things being added that should have been added as a regular update... There are so many good mods in hoi4 that Paradox could take the best of what's in them.
Despite all the flaws this game has. Still having fun playing it. But I recommend buying Hoi4 on sale...
